GOOD DAY HEALTH - DR. JACK - WEEKLY RECAP: Available Thursdays @ 5 AM Eastern GoodDayHealthShow.com Thursday, April 24 -  Dr. Jack Stockwell (www.forbiddendoctor.com & www.jackstockwell.com | Phone: 866-867-5070), a GAPS Practitioner and NUCCA Chiropractor, starts this episode with by addressing a common product on which he receives questions from patients and listeners — energy bars. Many add energy bars and protein bars in an effort to clean up their diet, with row after row of energy bars at health food stores. Here's the thing . . . they're not natural (even when listed as “natural,” and are essentially candy bars made from waste products. Dr. Jack breaks down the ingredients of the most popular energy bars and why they aren't as healthy as you think. Examples of such include the Boulder Bar, Source Bar, Power Bar, Cliff Bars, BioZone Bars, Atkins Advantage Bar (though it's the lowest amount of sugar), BioZone Bar, Balance Bars, and more. Many of these energy bars include excess sugar, sodium, canola oil, ultra-processed ingredients, and soy products, which Dr. Jack advices everyone should stay away from — but, especially men, as it raises estrogen levels. Are any energy bars OK? Well . . . Kind Bar is still processed and sugary, but it's loaded with nuts and is a more doable option should you need to eat a bar. Even Dr. Jack will eat a Kind bar when it's passed out on an airplane. Then, Doug and Dr. Jack discuss the latest work from RFK Jr, why more children and teens are struggling with anxiety and depression, and safety studies for vaccines. Website: GoodDayHealthrShow.com Social Media: @GoodDayNetworks

Dr. Berg’s Healthy Keto and Intermittent Fasting Podcast

Vitamin D toxicity is very rare and typically involves too much calcium in the blood. Even Dr. Bruce Hollis, a pioneer in vitamin D research, has never personally seen a case of vitamin D toxicity. To develop vitamin D toxicity, you'd have to consume hundreds of thousands of IUs of vitamin D3 for months! Vitamin D needs magnesium to function properly in the body. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you need. Magnesium prevents vascular calcification, the main problem associated with vitamin D toxicity. The vitamin D receptor is dependent on zinc. Like magnesium, your zinc requirements increase when you take vitamin D. Zinc deficiency symptoms include an altered sense of taste and smell, acne, flaky skin, and lowered testosterone. When you increase your vitamin D intake, you'll need more vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps prevent the buildup of calcium and also helps to drive calcium into the bones and teeth. The active form of vitamin A, called retinol, is also an important cofactor for vitamin D. Vitamin A receptors sometimes bind with vitamin D receptors as a complex. Vitamin A also helps keep calcium out of your arteries. Always take vitamin D3, not D2. Vitamin D2 is less potent and is typically synthetic. Avoid synthetic vitamin D3 supplements and supplements with fillers such as maltodextrin or glucose syrup. Leafy greens, chocolate, certain nuts, and pumpkin seeds are the best food sources of magnesium. When choosing a supplement, look for magnesium glycinate. The best food sources of zinc are red meat and shellfish. If you take a zinc supplement, consume it in a blend with other trace minerals. For every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 that you take, you'll need 100 mcg of vitamin K2. MK7 is the best form. Vitamin K2 is found in high-quality grass-fed butter, kimchi, sauerkraut, grass-fed beef, and eggs. It's best to get your vitamin A from food. Egg yolks, liver, and cod liver oil are the best sources. DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3627603/ https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... The Fall of DS Babylon (Audio) David Eells – 9/18/24 I told you I would try to share things with you if you would forsake being news junkies and seek the Lord for sanctification, which we have studied a lot lately. I pray you are ready for what's coming.  :0) I was told by the Lord to tell this story and that everything and everyone is covered by Him. (In Rev 12 the dragon and his angels are being cast down. I will share and make comments on some world affairs here.) Restored Republic via a GCR: Update as of 17-18, Sept. 2024 …in part…  https://operationdisclosureofficial.com/2024/09/17/restored-republic-via-a-gcr-as-of-september-17-2024/ https://operationdisclosureofficial.com/2024/09/18/restored-republic-via-a-gcr-as-of-september-18-2024/ Now Is The Time (The angels and the Alliance are bringing down all of the DS elites plans. Trust The Plan Pray “The Enormity Of What Is Coming Will Shock The World” …President Donald Trump, Q+ And the angels are also using men because it is in the Word that Cyrus, a type of Trump, destroys DS Babylon. Right Now a Globally Coordinated Military Strike Designed to Obliterate the Globalist Power Structure is Bringing in the Greatest Transfer of Wealth in History Did you know that angels only fulfill His Word and only listen to the voice of the Lord? Psa 103:20  Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word. One man who dealt with angels asked a high ranking one if he commanded them. The angel said we only obey the voice of God. This is true. If the word of the Lord comes out of man's mouth they obey it as it was with Annanias and Sapphira. When our missionaries were being killed by the Jesuits and Jehovah Witnesses because their people were being converted, the man who was over the Jesuits contacted me. He said very hypocritically and irately that Your people are killing our people.  I said to him, “You have never seen one of our missionaries raise a weapon against any of you or even to defend themselves.” This seemed to stun him but it was true and he didn't argue the point. I said you only have a couple of choices here. Either the JW's are warring against you again or the angels of God are killing you. He couldn't take that the angels were killing them because that would make him and his religion evil. I knew the angels were defending the missionaries. I asked one of my angels what was happening.  He said when the Jesuit mob gets too close to hiding missionaries we drop them. I said are there any marks on them? He said, No, so I said, to this Jesuit leader “there is no physical marks on them that is the angels and they don't make mistakes or do evil”. They killed that evil man and the Jesuits made a mask of him and put it on a turncoat and they killed him too. And for you the listener today and your understanding, the angels do not live in time and they know every person who is chosen from the foundation of the world and do not harm them. Now I tell you it is the same with the DS and their leaders. Nobody can tell the angels to do anything that is against God's will. After warning DS leaders who then ignored them,, the angels have fed them to the sharks and given some their own monkeypox. For 53 years I have worked every day to save people from sin and that is my heart. I wait expectantly for the Soloman (peaceful) Man-child ministry to come when the peace is won by the David Man-child ministry. We are almost there. Watch Out For, Protect & Save the Children. S*****c Worshippers & Their Secretive Covens Exist Across the Globe Perhaps Even in Your Neighborhood & Right Next Door. Pray them down for they have plans to destroy Christianity. Tues. 17 Sept. 2024 “The Storm Is Here: Hidden Bunkers Raided, Children Rescued, and the Deep State Exposed” …Ben Fulford on Telegram The Deep State's grip on our nation is weakening as their secrets come to light. The truth, long concealed, is now emerging, and the powerful are scrambling to maintain control. Brave actions are peeling back the layers of deception, revealing the sinister operations that have kept the American people in the dark for too long. February 18, 2024: The Georgetown Raid: Tension filled the air in Georgetown, Washington, DC, as Unit X, a group of elite military personnel with trained Belgian Malinois, stormed a hidden bunker beneath the city's streets. Inside, they uncovered horrors orchestrated by the Deep State—47 children were rescued, and high-profile arrests followed, including a sitting congressman. The mainstream media remained silent, complicit in covering up this monumental event. Operation Eclipse Exposed: March 15, 2024 marked another victory against the Deep State. Leaked documents from a private intelligence firm in Langley, Virginia, exposed “Operation Eclipse,” a plan to fracture the nation through media manipulation and engineered social unrest. The Deep State aimed to bring America to its knees, paving the way for martial law. However, Trump's executive orders from 2020 thwarted this sinister plot just in time. FEMA Camps Revealed: On June 22, 2024, a whistleblower from the Department of Homeland Security risked everything to reveal that FEMA camps, supposedly for natural disasters, were being used as holding facilities for political dissidents and t********d children. Satellite imagery and intercepted communications confirmed these camps' existence in remote areas of Nevada and Montana, exposing the Deep State's depravity. The Silicon Valley “S*****e”: August 8, 2024, saw the mysterious death of a tech billionaire in his Silicon Valley mansion. The official story—s*****e—was a lie. This billionaire, a key financial architect of the Deep State, had been funding operations to undermine Trump's efforts to drain the swamp. Unit X had been monitoring him, and when they struck, they ensured he could no longer threaten the nation. This was not a s*****e but an execution in the war against those who seek to destroy America. The Banksters Exposed Fast forward to September 8, 2024. The pace is accelerating. Switzerland—long a safe haven for the cabal's dirty money—is under siege. The Swiss National Bank has been exposed as a laundering operation for the Rothschilds, CIA, and Mossad. Billions have flowed through these accounts, funding bioweapons research and secret space operations. The Great Awakening is in full swing. Leaks are flooding the internet, exposing Swiss banks as the heartbeat of the devil's operation. They've manipulated currencies, hoarded gold, and funded wars they claimed to mediate. But the reckoning is here. The White Hats and Q Ops, with the Space Force, have intercepted more than just financial transactions. They have the blackmail archives—the files that kept politicians, CEOs, and Hollywood stars in line. These are the secrets that have protected the cabal's sick agenda for too long. Epstein was only the beginning. His island was the hub for t*********g and a***e, but now, Trump's knowledge of these operations is a weapon against the elite. The mainstream media won't tell you this, but Trump's Sovereign Wealth Fund is the declaration of war against the Rothschild's debt-slavery system. The Federal Reserve is crumbling. $3 trillion in hidden reserves have been uncovered. These funds, stolen from the American people, were used to fund global chaos—from fake pandemics to weather manipulation. Yes, they've been playing God with storms, controlling droughts and earthquakes to instill fear and control. The Deep State's Final Struggle: The Deep State is in full retreat, but the battle is far from over. Every day, new revelations expose the extent of their crimes and influence. The fight for the soul of America is entering its most critical phase. The deep state's reach extends into every facet of society—government, media, corporations, and institutions once trusted to protect us. They have manipulated and controlled us through fear and division for years, but 2024 marks the turning point. The Tide Is Turning: The Storm is here, and the Deep State is running scared. They are not invincible, and the tide is turning. The hunters have become the hunted. Every action they take is monitored, every plot countered, and every secret exposed. The deep state's time is running out, and the final, decisive blow is coming. NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has just blown the lid off a terrifying agenda hidden deep in Alaska. Documents reveal that HAARP, which they claimed was about “scientific research,” is in reality a weapon designed to control and manipulate humanity on a global scale. HAARP's Dark Purpose: For years, the military has disguised HAARP as a research station, keeping its true mission hidden from the public. According to Snowden's leaks, HAARP is no innocent experiment—it's a weapon of mass manipulation, targeting people's brains, causing what seem like natural deaths—strokes, heart attacks. This is more than a conspiracy theory. It's happening now, right under our noses. Mind Control at an Unimaginable Level: Snowden revealed that HAARP can remotely control the minds of those who speak out, turning people into irrational, “crazy” individuals in the eyes of the world. Their goal? Silencing dissenters, using these frequency waves to make their opposition crumble from within. Think about it—the world leaders, media moguls, and CEOs you see on TV are just puppets, controlled through advanced technology. Ever wonder why some of the most powerful voices for truth go silent overnight? The Smoking Gun – Proof of HAARP's Control: These documents aren't just hearsay. Snowden shared secret emails from top military officials confirming the horrific truth behind HAARP's operations. This is no longer speculation—it's fact. You're either awake or you're being played. They want you docile, blind, and submissive, all while the elite pull the strings behind the scenes. HAARP's Reach – More Than Just Alaska: It's not just Alaska. There are multiple HAARP facilities worldwide. In Sweden, Russia, even beneath the cover of cell towers right here at home. They've built a global network to keep their control tight.  WARNING!!! At This Very Moment in New York UN Global Elites Were Positioning Themselves To Completely Control People of the World via Passage of the Global Digital Compact, or the Illuminati's Great Reset (Pray this down) Meanwhile… On Monday Trump Announced the Launch of World Liberty Financial Crypto Exchange, the Apparent Precursor to 130 Sovereign Countries' Gold/Asset-Backed Global Currency Reset Which Ensured The People Would Have Complete Control Over Their Own Monies & Provided Freedom From Debt For All …. Checkmate!!! Judy Note: We're sitting on the edge of a Global Blackout and Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) Activation, where normal communication will cease for ten days. It's called Operation Stormbreaker – the greatest Sting Operation ever. Military Units have been mobilizing Worldwide for a coordinated military strike to obliterate the Globalist Power Structure. “It's only wise to have at least a month's supply of food, water, cash, medicine and essential items on hand for yourself, your family and to share with others in case of emergency.” Judy Note: Right now the 79th U.N. General Assembly was meeting in New York to consider putting their stamp of approval on a document called the Global Digital Compact. If passed, the Compact would give the U.N. Secretary-General totalitarian control over all people across the Globe, overriding governments and trampling individual freedoms. (I believe Our annulling of this will last till mid trib.) A non-elected Deep State UN official could demand every person on the planet implant digital IDs and vaccine passports on their person for the sole purpose of Deep State surveillance. Worse, the tattooed ID some define as the Mark of Cain, would give those Globalists control over individual bank accounts, and lives. Without compliance, you would be nothing—unable to work, unable to live. Sound familiar? This will not happen now but mid-trib  The UN Deep State Cabal would have the power to declare at their will, global emergencies, lockdowns and travel restrictions. – a perfect plan for implementation of the Illuminati's New World Order. The Global Military Alliance does have it all. They have overtaken the Z******s and Elites who pull the strings of the World —those at the very top had fallen: the 13 Illuminati families, Vatican, Royal Families, Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Gates, Obama, Clintons – were under White Hat control even if they, or their clones, or perhaps actors behind sophisticated masks, still paraded around in public like nothing happened. As head of the Global Military Alliance President Trump has either replaced or had control over them all. He's the true ruler now, and not just of America, but over the entire world. Like Trump, President Kennedy knew all about the CIA Child S*x T*********g Ring Operations and the Deep State Military using s*x operations to blackmail politicians, that then controlled health, education, Mainstream Media, music and film industries, along with foreign government officials who were connected to Money Laundering Operations and the Global Financial System. That's why this Deep State Cabal assassinated Lincoln, and tried to assassinate JFK, Trump and others because these Patriots  were trying to give taxpayer monies back to The People. It was why the Q Movement was formed and now operating at full speed That bubble was set to burst on Wed. 20 Nov. 2024 with the start of Nuremberg Trials 2.0 which were bound to reveal all. Pray down the new plagues Another bubble was popping across the Globe by way of more planned epidemics. On Tues. 17 Sept. 2024 in what appeared to be very strange coincidences, a new C***d strain known as “XEC” was announced as rapidly spreading across Europe. First identified in Germany in June, cases of the XEC variant have since been detected in the UK, US, Denmark and several other countries. Also on Tues. the Deep State tried to declare a Bird Flu epidemic in Democratic Colorado as the state announced a State of Emergency, while at the same time the CCP in Singapore launched a quarantine and vaccination campaign (This is the real threat) for Monkeypox: https://www.newstarget.com/2024-09-16-singapore-launches-quarantine-and-vaccination-campaign-monkeypox.html Tues. 17 Sept. 2024: ALERT! On Monday 20 Venezuelan Gang members were arrested and the governor was now seeking to confiscate their properties. BREAKING! Texas Gov. Greg Abbott designates Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization and says Texas will use the courts to halt the operations and will use asset forfeiture to take their property while working to keep them in jail longer. The governor says there is no database to identify TdA members, TxDPS will be working with other law enforcement to create the a database from scratch. Gov. Abbott says the gang is trying to get a foothold in Texas but he's not going to let that happen. The governor annoying that the Gateway Hotel in El Paso has been shut down following an injunction via the county attorney. Governor Abbott says 20 suspected TdA gang members were arrested as a result of operations in and around the hotel. Despite his firsthand account, his testimony was never included in the 9/11 Commission Report. Trump's golf outing was a last minute decision. Yet, Routh was already hiding in the bushes, waiting for Trump to walk by on the golf course with his GoPro camera set up for the “perfect shot.” How did this well trained killer make it that far by himself and how did he know where Trump would be? How did Routh know Trump would be out golfing at that exact time and at that exact place on the golf course? I was told by the Lord when I asked this same question, “Laura Loomer” and the angels gave her to the Alliance. This is a deep state very sexy plant who travels by plane everywhere the Rally Trump goes and knows his plans. The real Trump is safe and faithful to his wife. Why did Democrat Left leaning Time Magazine on 9/11 come out with a cover that had a picture of Trump in a Golf Cart going down a sand hole with the word “Trouble” to the side of him? They were told by the DS their plan, Why did Democrat Left leaning CNN now come out to say that the shots WERE in fact, directed at Trump after they originally reported that this was an isolated incident and Trump wasn't in danger. Oops the truth got out, had to cover themselves. Why did both of Trump's assailants appear in a Deep State Cabal BlackRock ad prior to their assassination attempts? Apparently, several Secret Service agents returned fire at both of the recent Trump Assassination Attempts shooters. All of them then fled, and were apprehended or k****d shortly after. The fact that the FBI, Homeland Security, US Secret Service and or local Police allowed two or more people with AK-47s in an active firefight anywhere close to where Trump was speaking or golfing was very alarming to say the least. Golfing opens up too much unwatched territory for shooters. I'm only an outside observer, but with Trump head of the Global Military Alliance which was arresting thousands of corrupt Deep State Globalists, it's pretty obvious to me that the two recent Trump Assassination Attempts were Homeland Security- FBI-Biden Administration Inside Jobs. But of course, those were the very agencies that held the power and were required to “investigate” the incidents, so why should we worry? Don't worry, act and speak faith! And, why should we worry that the U.N. was positioning itself to be the center of Global control with undefined powers? After all, only our Freedoms were at stake. The Lord is sovereign over the beast. Let Him speak through you “Trust The Plan. Pray: Sunday's second Trump Assassination Attempt was believed to be a Homeland Security-FBI Inside Job – which brings us closer to the Big Bang Three Day Event. We are just waiting for the Green Light for Starlink to send an Emergency Broadcast Alert to all cell phones worldwide. As corrupt governments fall and Mass Arrests are made, a Ten Day Communications Blackout Event will bring in the new Quantum Financial System and GCR, NESARA/ GESARA implementation. After which will arise the unbelievably fast Quantum Internet with secure bank accounts and transparent Quantum Voting that restore Freedom and Democracy, along with Trumpsara for lean and efficient governments manned by honest Patriots and free Med Bed treatments that create healthy and free societies worldwide.” … The 17th Letter (JFK Jr.) on Telegram Mon. 16 Sept. 2024 McAfee Software has been used by the Global Military Alliance to infiltrate the inner sanctums of governmental bodies, elite individuals and global military entities. It serves as a covert operative revealing a labyrinth of corruption, concealed agendas, human t*********g, planned military coups, and international money laundering operations. I was asked by General Smith why I didn't tell them the angels had this capability. I said, I am under orders what to say and do and when. He said, I can understand that. He and his men are doing a great job. The Lord said he could make a list but the Lord would decide who could come back.) Since Joe Biden was Vice President, his family and their shell companies have hauled in $18 million from foreign sources. (By order of the Lord, the angels make sure the ill-gotten gain of these people is ultimately returned to the people harmed in the way He decides and the criminals all the way to the top are eliminated. Judy Byington: Sunday's Second Trump Assassination Attempt Believed To Be A Homeland Security-FBI Inside Job! Restored Republic via a GCR: Update as of Mon. 16 Sept. 2024 – amg-news.com – American Media Group As of today, September 17, 2024, military transports have been spotted landing at Nellis Air Force Base and Fort Bragg. Insiders report this is Phase One of a larger operation targeting key deep state strongholds in Washington, D.C., New York, Los Angeles, and beyond. The Pentagon is done waiting for compromised bureaucrats. Orders are coming directly from a clandestine command center deep within Cheyenne Mountain. And it's not just the U.S.—forces overseas are joining the fight. Bases in Germany and Italy are preparing for joint operations with loyal NATO factions. The global purge is about to begin. The elites are panicking. Private jets have been tracked flying into remote hideouts—they're running scared. CEOs are stepping down, politicians are “retiring,” but there's no escape. The storm is here, and it will show no mercy. Possible Timing: Mon. 16 Sept. 2024 John F. Kennedy Jr. (The vice-President) on Telegram: In one week everything will change. Emergency services will stay active, but everything else is about to go dark. During this time, no internet, no ATMs, and phones only working for 911 calls. This is the Global Martial Law we've been talking about, and it comes with a 10-day communication blackout. (It's been said Signal will be operational. I read the grid may be sabotaged. If so an adapter to charge your phone from the cigarette lighter in your car is cheap; maybe $3. Also Tesla Free Energy may go up.) But here's the kicker: the Emergency Broadcast System will be activated worldwide. Nonstop, 24/7, 8-hour documentaries exposing the darkest secrets of the elite—fraud, corruption, pedophilia, and their arrests—will play three times a day. The truth will be unleashed. The military is taking down Cabal-controlled governments worldwide, executing mass arrests based on 500,000 sealed indictments. This is the moment we've been fighting for. But don't be fooled by the so-called “peace.” This is no ordinary treaty. It's a trap for the enemy. They surrendered a long time ago, but it hasn't been announced. Why? Because we are in the final stages of a secret war. Yes, it might look like Trump is working with Z*****t enemies in Israel, but the truth is the Global Alliance has already overtaken them. The elites pulling the strings—those at the very top—have already fallen. The Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, Gates, they are all under control now, even if they still parade around in public like nothing happened. Trump isn't collaborating with them—he's replaced them. The king has returned! The light is coming! But remember, this is a game of strategy. In war, you don't reveal your hand until it's time for the final blow. Right now, Trump is holding all the cards. “I leaned back in the tub and I think what I said was just, ‘I've never held one of my babies after they were born before.'It was interesting how there was an element that was sort of mundane about it but I liked that. It was just the normalcy of it all that shocked me if that makes sense.” Since her only experiences with her previous births were in a sterile, surgical, hospital environment, the simplicity and freedom of a home birth felt shockingly normal in all the best ways!Jolie shares her first C-section, her planned home birth turned CBAC, followed by a 15-hour home birth at 43 weeks to an almost 11-pound baby with her third. She gives invaluable advice on how to REALLY know if you have the right provider for you and how it may not always be the VBAC-supportive provider everyone recommends. Jolie's Photography and Coaching Contact InfoTransforming BirthNeeded WebsiteHow to VBAC: The Ultimate Prep Course for ParentsFull Transcript under Episode Details Meagan: Hello, Women of Strength. It's Meagan here. We have another VBAC story for you today and we have our friend, Jolie. Hello, Jolie. Jolie: Hey, Meagan. Meagan: How are you today? Jolie: I'm good. How are you? Meagan: I am so great. I am so excited to record your story. There were a whole bunch of little snippets through your story that I'm like, Oh, I want to talk about that. But I wanted to tell everybody that I've been starting to do this. I don't know if you've been noticing but we get a lot of emails of, Hey, where was this person located? What state was that? I'm curious if it was my state so I can try to find that provider. We are going to have her providers and stuff tagged in today's post but you say you are in North Georgia, correct? Jolie: Yes. Meagan: Is that just where your VBAC was or is that where you are residing now? Jolie: Nope, this is where my VBAC was, in North Georgia. Meagan: Okay, so North Georgia people, listen up. This is going to be a great story. I'll tell you guys a little bit more. Okay, so you're a birth worker and a photographer. Are you a doula? Jolie: Yes. Yep. I was trained as a doula in 2020 but I'm exploring different ways to support people in the birth community because, with three young children, I'm just trying to navigate the on-call life and doing things. But yes, I do have experience being a doula. Meagan: Awesome. So cool. Like she said, she has three kiddos. She is a Christian wife to a Biblical counselor. That's awesome. I love how you guys said that you have a vision of a multi-generational team on a mission to God's kingdom. I just love that so much. I am so excited to record your story here in just a few seconds. I do of course have a Review of the Week as always. We always have reviews and just a reminder, if you haven't left a review yet, we would love them. They really do help the show. They help other Women of Strength find these amazing stories and honestly, they just put a ginormous smile on my face. This review says, “Love these ladies and this podcast.” It says, “I love listening to your podcast. I listen almost every day in the car. So often that my oldest son knows you both by name. The stories shared here have inspired me so much. I wish I had all of this information with my first baby. I have had two C-sections. I'm not pregnant at the moment and still have to get my husband on board for a third, but I am so excited to start planning for a VBAC after two C-sections when the time comes. Thank you, Julie and Megan, for creating this amazing VBAC community. I'm so thankful for the education and support.” Okay, seriously, I love that. We keep hearing this. I love that other kids know who we are because they are just so used to listening to the podcast because this is what I love even more than just they know who they are. They are learning. These kids are sponges. We know that. They are always taking stuff in that we are saying and if they're listening to these stories, they are learning. So hopefully if your kiddos are learning and listening, they are going to have a different outcome in their future for their future births if they so choose to because they're going to know, right? They're going to know all of these stories. Anyway, that makes my heart smile. Jolie: That's awesome. Meagan: All right, girl. Are you ready? Let's do this. Jolie: All right. Meagan: All right. Let's turn the time over. Jolie: Okay, so yes. I had a home birth in November, November 5th. That was a home birth after two Cesareans so an HBA2C. I'll just do a small synopsis of the first two births because I feel like that always helps preface the background of where I'm coming from. I think everybody's journey to their VBAC is totally different. Meagan: Yeah, totally different and at the same time, there are so many listening who are like, Oh my gosh, this is just like me. I think sometimes we hold on to those past experiences even if we've processed them. We know that was our past so sometimes we even doubt ourselves because of that so hearing someone's story who is pretty similar to yours and then hearing them go on to have a VBAC is pretty impactful. Jolie: Yeah, absolutely. I can relate to that as well with listening to podcasts and finding those stories of women's journeys to their VBACs. I definitely clung onto the ones I related to. With my first baby, our daughter, she was born in 2019 and I mean, that was like so many, a typical cascade of interventions situation where I was aware of home birth and natural childbirth. I knew that I wanted that, but I also was just young and didn't know and wasn't aware of the resources I had. It's pretty much what I chaulked that up to. I just was getting into birth and eyes wide open and reading what I could but I didn't really know obviously what the future was going to hold for me. I didn't know all what was available to me either. I was seeing a traditional OB group and was planning a hospital birth but wanted just a natural childbirth with no interventions at all. I just wanted in in the hospital. I ended up getting fear-mongered to just put it simply out there. Fearmongered into an induction at 41 weeks and yeah. Quite frankly, it just didn't work. My body was not ready. I was not open at all and I was so determined. I stayed in that hospital working with an induction for a whole week before I had my C-section. I was trying to go slow and steady and I was going a little stir crazy there at the end of that week. I obviously was confused and just downcast and so just sad about what was happening. I was shocked that I was there in that situation. I remember reading Ina May's book and skipping the C-section chapter because I was like, That's not going to be me. Why do I need to read this? Meagan: That's really normal. Even here with the CBAC stories, I think it's really common to be like, I don't want to listen to that CBAC story because that's not going to be me. But at the same time, I think it's good too. Jolie: Yeah. Yeah. There's definitely a balance to that. I found myself at the end of that week pushing 42 and was kind of again just had fear within me and had fear coming from my providers of, “You've been at this for a week. You're not in labor. Your options are to leave or have a C-section.” I was just like, “Leave? I've been here for a week. I'm not going to leave here without a baby.” We opted for the C-section and she was fine. We handled that whole week together perfectly fine. There were no emergencies or hiccups in the road. It was just like, “All right. This is just what we do next,” kind of at this point. She was born at 32 to the day via Cesarean and yeah. That was that. I definitely processed the birth very traumatically because any trauma is how you process what's going on. I know there are births out there that could look like that and people handle it differently. So anyway, for me, I processed it with a sense of trauma. I spent that next year just working through that sorrow and trauma. I started seeing a Biblical counselor which is why I included in my little bio that my husband is one because I saw one and the change that he saw in me is what spurred him on and encouraged him to become one. That was a really cool moment in our family where I was going to this wonderful woman for help and just handling my birth. Anyway, that was really helpful for me in growing and changing the way I was looking at my birth. I was very determined to have a VBAC. My husband I have always said that we want however many children the Lord would give us. I assumed that wouldn't be just one. I wanted another one so I was very determined for a VBAC for my second pregnancy. We conceived my second when my daughter turned one. It was a year later and I was just– the way this pregnancy and birth happened which was a repeat Cesarean, I just put my blinders on and put my head down and was like, I just need to hire a home birth midwife and she's going to give me my VBAC. That was my attitude. Surely if I plan a home birth, I'm not leaving my house. There's no way it will end in a C-section. I was very– I don't know if stubborn was the right word, but there was a sense that I was covering up all that I went through with this first birth to just have the VBAC, have the VBAC. It was almost like that was going to fix the first one. That was how I felt. In hindsight, I see that now. In the moment, I probably did not recognize that that was how I was operating. I hired a home birth midwife who came recommended to me. I knew friends who used her. So then here we are towards the end approaching 41 weeks like the last time and my water broke on 41 weeks. It was the first sign of labor and I had no signs of labor with my first child so that was so exciting. I was kind of scared too. I was surprised. My water broke at 41 and I was talking to my midwife and whatnot. I had some little pitter-patter contractions that night and then nothing the next day. That was on a Sunday. My son ended up being born that Thursday via Cesarean. What happened within that week or a little less than a week was not the funnest of times. I pretty much realized there at the very end when I was needing– you're here at the end and you're like, What's going to happen next? I realized, I hired the wrong midwife, but what do I do now? Meagan: No way. Jolie: Yeah. Like I said, I'm not going to speak ill, but I believe that every care provider is not the right fit for everyone. So just because I heard wonderful reviews, that's not negating the fact that she was wonderful for some people, but looking back, this is pairing it where my head was down and my blinders were on. Now I can see in hindsight the red flags that were coming up. I was like, Oh, she's just tired. Maybe she just got back from a birth and that's why she seems grumpy. She's been doing this for a long time. I was just giving reasons to why she was the way she was. It was nothing more than that we just didn't click well. After my water broke, she took on this fearful attitude. She was very concerned and just didn't know what to do. She really fed into fears that I had and new ones in my head. I was just like, This is not helping. What's going on? All that to say, I think she wanted me to have a biophysical profile done since my water had broken and I was 41 and labor hadn't begun. Obviously, the profile came back that there was low fluid which I knew because my water had broken but there was nothing else concerning with my son. But because of that report, she transferred me to the hospital. She transferred care and she called my husband after the report came back to her and said, “Y'all need to go to the hospital. I'm not going to be able to support you. Just go.” That moment from the report to the hospital was scary for me but on the way there, I had this peace come over me because I was going back to the hospital that my daughter was born at and before this birth, I was very much even just seeing the hospital– I would just not look at it by the side of the road. I had all of this emotion attached to this place. I knew a few people who worked there in the labor and delivery ward. I had their numbers so I messaged them. I was like, “Is there any chance y'all are here?” Long story short, I'm coming. I don't want to be here, but I'm coming. They were. I had a friend come and she prayed with me and I had seen another nurse there who was there when I had my daughter and she remembered me. It was just this very healing moment in the sense of I was respected. People totally were not judging me for coming in as a home birth transfer. I was worried about that that I would get a side-eye or judgment because I was a home birth mom. I was actually going to the hospital and I didn't have a provider there. But no, they were all so very much like, “We are so sorry that you are here because we know that you don't want to be here but we are taking care of you. We understand that this is hard for you to process everything that's going on right now.” That was healing in itself. That healed my emotional attachments to the hospital that were negative. He was fine. They monitored him for a few minutes when we got there. He was fine, but they also– I did tell my husband when we were on the way, “I just know that it's going to be another C-section because I don't even have a doctor here. My water's broken. I'm already a VBAC.” I kind of had accepted that outcome before even getting there and decided to opt for it again. The doctor there was also very respectful with all of that just like the nurses were. He was born at 41 and 5. He was fine even though the water had been broken for some time. So that was that. In processing that birth, it was a little bit different than my first. I definitely felt like I was at a fork in the road though because here I am. I've just had two. I was technically a home birth transfer. I was determined to get this VBAC. What in the world happened that time? I just realized that I had taken any sort of trust and responsibility in the medical community or within myself and just put it in the hands of this midwife and put her up on this pedestal of, You're going to give me the birth that I want. I misplaced that into the whole home birth community. I was like, I can't do that again. But then that is some deep internal work then. If I am realizing that I am making all of these other people responsible for my birth and my outcome and it's not working out great, I need to figure out what the root of this is and really work on it. That began the year journey of just doing some more internal work and more counseling and therapy and stuff like that. I remember it might have been this podcast episode that I listened to or it could have been another birth podcast. It was honestly a lightbulb going off. I didn't realize I could do this. I can't remember. I think it was your podcast but one of y'all said, “I interviewed seven providers before I became pregnant again to pick one out.” Meagan: Yeah. I actually interviewed 12. Jolie: Yes, okay. I wrote that down. I heard that and I was like, Wait a minute. How am I going to do that if I'm pregnant and scrambling to find the perfect provider? I heard you say that and it was almost like, Whoa. I didn't realize I could interview people when I'm not pregnant, but why couldn't I? So that helped me. Meagan: It sounds weird. Why would you go talk to a doctor if you're not pregnant? Jolie: Yeah, but that gave me so much peace and confidence. It was a clear path of, Oh. I'm not pregnant. I've got time. I started. I didn't want to figure this all out until my son turned 1 so I was just like, You need to take a breath. Everybody talks about your next baby right after you had one and I'm always like, Can you just slow down? I just had a baby and I'm going to enjoy this time. So I waited a year not to get pregnant the third time but a year to go after my provider, find my plan, and really do the deep work again. So I did. I started interviewing all of these people. I found my midwife a little over a year before I conceived my third baby. I found her early when I wasn't pregnant. It was just such a God-ordained, perfect experience where my husband and I went and had a conversation with her. She just aligned with us on a biological level, on a spiritual level. That was something I didn't realize how important it was going to be to me to find a fellow Christian who really walked out their life with the Lord and she did. I developed a close friendship with her actually even before I was pregnant. Being in the birth world, I would work with her. I had attended some births with her before I became pregnant so I really just saw her live it out and I knew she was amazing. What's so funny, just the way the mind and body and spirit are connected was when I first met her and did the interview with my husband, I hadn't started my cycle back. I was telling her, “I'm just looking. I need a VBAC. I want a VBAC. I'm not pregnant yet, but I haven't started my cycle either so I have no idea when.” The very next day, I got my period. For me, I felt like it was my body coming into alignment with the fact that I just found somebody who was going to be amazing for my birth. Meagan: You're ready. Jolie: I emailed her, “This is so weird but I literally just started my cycle.” Anyway, that was just a really cool moment for me to recognize that connection. That was when I found my midwife and that was such a key part to my VBAC. Then it was about a year later when I got pregnant with my third. I hired her and we were just so excited. Okay, so one of my big things with interviewing people for my third was, “Okay, I have had two pregnancies and two Cesareans. Historically, I have gone postdates with both of them. I need to know what your deal is with due dates and the whole ‘let me' language and all of that.” I was trying to figure out what I aligned with in that regard and what they would support me with. So here I am approaching 42 weeks. She was very much like, “Whatever. We'll check on you more when you're past your due date if you want and we'll obviously take care of you but I have no cutoff or whatever.” Yeah. So I was 42 weeks and I started losing a little bit of my mucus plug. That was exciting but then another pretty much week went by and here I am a couple days before 43 and I have two nights of prodromal labor where the contractions would wake me up in the night but then I'd go back to sleep. That was the first night on a Thursday night I would have those contractions. Friday rolls around. I am so pregnant and so tired. It was definitely emotionally very challenging that last month. But Friday night comes around. They pick up again and that night, I really couldn't sleep so I would be on the birth ball. I would get in the bathtub and yeah. I knew I was going to need some support on Saturday because of my other children so it did fizzle out Saturday morning, but I had a friend come and play with my kids. We just all hung out together on Saturday. I did have some contractions that were strong every 30 minutes to an hour during the day on Saturday. I was pretty much– that Saturday I was 43 weeks I think. Either Saturday or Friday I was 43 weeks. That evening it started picking up a little bit more and my birth team, so my midwife and her assistant who was going to come to the birth and my husband. They came over around 10:30 Saturday morning and then 30 minutes later– so they got to my house at 10:30-11:00 PM. My kids were asleep so that was fine. I wasn't really sure if I was going to have them around or not. I was going to play it by ear because I wasn't sure what kind of support I'd need from my husband and how they were going to handle it. Through the night they slept which was great and I was laboring that Saturday night. My water broke at 11:00 PM Saturday night 30 minutes after my birth team got there and that was something that I was having to really work with in my mind because of the second birth having my water break as the first sign of labor and then not have the baby for several days. I was really wanting to not have my water break early. Meagan: Yeah. Jolie: But my water breaking actually when it broke at 11:00, I was in labor before then. That was a different situation and I just had this wave of peace come over me again because I knew I was finally in labor and my birth team was going to stay. It wasn't going to be, “Oh, nevermind. We're going to go home now.” They were here and the water was clear. I had no worries. I was actually really excited after my water broke because I thought I wasn't going to be because of my second birth but I was so thankful. Pretty much from there on, it started picking up pretty intensely. The nighttime was a blur. I just did squats and walked around and swayed and just clung to door frames I feel like. I was just sort of, yeah. I definitely struggled with holding tension in my body in the contractions. I did labor pretty much all night on Saturday and then later in the night maybe around 4:00 or 5:00 AM, I finally found a great place to relax and just a position. It was actually just laying in the bed reclined is what did it for me. I was able to melt into the contractions and I could tell that I was opening and progressing. I just slept around 4:00 or 5:00 until 7:00 AM so early into Sunday morning now. I was definitely still laboring intensely but I was sleeping. To somebody on the outside, you would just think, Oh, she's just taking a nap. I was in transition actually. I did not think I would want a cervical exam because of my previous two births– never dilating, all of that. I had to move past that whole belief that my body was not going to open and things like that so I wasn't sure how I was going to do with exams and stuff. But at that time, being a doula and hearing so many birth stories, I was already pregnant for so long, I was just like, I need to know if I have a whole other day of this. I don't want to hear a number but I want her to check me and at least tell me if my energy needs to be hunkered down, conserved, you're not that far, or is it okay, let's pick it up. You're almost there? I did want her to check me but I didn't want to hear a number. I just wanted her to give me a general frame of, “Here's where you need to be in your headspace with this information I've just received.” It was 7:00 AM maybe. She checked me. She was like, “Are you sure you don't want to hear a number?” I could just tell the way she asked that question. I was like, Okay, she knows I'm going to like the number I'm going to hear. I was like, “Okay, go ahead and tell me.” She was like, “You're an 8 and I can stretch you completely open very easily.” I was like, “What? Oh wow, this is amazing. Okay.” She was like, “I think all it's going to take is some different positions. We're going to do a circuit to get the baby's head lined up just a little bit more straight and that will open you up all the way if we just move the baby just a little bit.” I was like, “Okay, let's do it.” I did two circuits of excruciating positions. Side-lying was not the most fun thing I've ever done but I was very much just like, “Tell me what to do and I'll do it.” We did side-lying, knees to chest, and dip the hip where I was standing and I would swap and turn. I don't know how to explain the sensation, but it was probably just the baby moving through my pelvis. It was pretty intense. I did two circuits of that and I was just like, “I need to feel some comfort again and not do this circuit again.” So I was like, “I think I want to get in the birth pool.” I had the birth pool set up. I had tried to get in earlier in labor but got right back out. It was just not for me. I was like, “Maybe I'll try the birth pool.” I stepped in and was like, “Nope. I don't want to do that.” The second time now, this was around 11:30 AM. I was like, “I think I want to get in the pool.” I got in and I was like, “I'm not 100% sure but I kind of think I feel pushy.” It was just one of those things that in a lot of ways I felt like a first-time mom having this labor where I never had a pushing phase with the others. I was just sort of doubting myself a little bit, but the assistant was like, “Well, we can't tell you if you feel pushy.” I was like, “Okay. I know. I know.” Meagan: We can't tell you. Jolie: Yeah. Meagan: That's hilarious. Jolie: I was like, “Okay. Well, I'll just be in this for a few more contractions and see if whatever sensation I'm feeling stays or gets stronger. I think I'll be confident when I am ready to push or if it changes and whatever.” I just was trying to figure out again where I needed to be. So I did feel that pushing sensation and started to in the water. That was definitely such a switch in the way I was experiencing the sensations of labor because the contractions were painful to me, but when I started pushing, it was like relief and very relieving. I felt like, Oh, I'm doing something. This is different. I'm not just getting through this. I'm moving through it in a way where I have this sort of control over it. I really enjoyed pushing and I was in the tub and again, reclining on my back. I never thought I would be in this position for birth because it's usually the hospital stereotype of on your back on the bed but that's where I felt relief and got through transition on my bed so in the birth pool, that's actually how I pushed was kind of reclined back. I was just able to do it better that way. I had 5 minutes between each contraction so that was really nice because I ended up pushing for about 2 hours. That's kind of a long time. I think from start to finish my labor was 15 hours so it was those last 2. I never felt exhausted as in, I can't do this, but I do remember I wasn't really aware of the time. I knew it was Sunday afternoon. I got in the pool at 11:30 and my son was born at 2:05. I was pushing but I had those 5 minutes of breaks so I was able to doze off and float in the water. I genuinely enjoyed those 2 hours. It was just peaceful but I felt myself getting sort of impatient because I didn't know what time it was, but I was just like, Okay. The water is kind of cool. I know I've been in here for a while so I don't know. I really wish this was over now. So finally, there was a candid moment where I saw my midwife getting baby stuff together and I was just like, “Oh, what are you doing?” She was like, “You're pushing. I'm getting the baby stuff out. You're doing this. It's actually happening.” I was just like, “Oh wow. Okay. I guess so.” It was so funny. I don't know. I think there is just this part of where I was just so zoned into what I was doing and what I was feeling that I wasn't really processing it, Oh, this is happening. This is happening. As she told me, I could feel my baby's head and that was mind-blowing. Once I could reach out and feel his head, which we didn't know at the time it was a boy. We were waiting to find out. That definitely brought me into a sense of reality when I could feel the baby's head. It was just like, Whoa, okay. This is happening. There was a slight burn when his head crowned, but there was so much adrenaline when his body was coming out that I don't even really recall that being painful just kind of a burning sensation. His head crowned. I changed positions after his head was born. I was still in the water, but I sort of think I was on my back. I moved up a little bit onto my hands and knees and stayed in the water. My midwife ended up guiding his head and shoulders down and then his body came out. She handed him to me and I just remember knowing it was a boy even though I hadn't seen yet. I leaned back in the tub and I think what I said was just, “I've never held one of my babies after they were born before.” That feeling of an immediate, My baby came out and they are in my arms. That was just so surreal but at the same time it was almost so seamless and intuitive that I was just like, Okay. I just gave birth and it's just a normal day. Everybody around me– I think I had thought built it up in my mind to be this incredible experience which it was. I don't want to say, It wasn't all that, but in a way, birth is so natural and normal that after it happened, it was just like, I'm in my bed and the birds are chirping outside and the day is going on, where before I was in the hospital and it felt like this whole different world. It was interesting how there was an element that was sort of mundane about it but I like that. I don't know. It was just the normalcy of it all that shocked me if that makes sense. Meagan: Yeah. No, I really actually can totally relate. I remember after I had my VBAC after two C-section baby, I was at a birth center. I was in the bathroom on the floor when I gave birth and they were like, “All right, let's get you up and move you to the room.” I was like, “Okay.” I just remember going in there and laying down and starting to feed my baby and just looking around almost like, Did that really just happen? But at the same time, it was like, Yeah, it just happened and now I'm just feeding my baby. Jolie: Yeah, that was it. Meagan: It was so weird. It was so weird. There was a slight disconnect in my brain that what had just transpired transpired. Jolie: Yes. Meagan: So yeah. I really can relate to that so much. Then about how you were saying, “I was pushing for a really long time and I just looked over and realized my midwife was putting the baby stuff together and getting stuff ready,” and you were like, “Oh, yeah. Yeah.” I had that moment too where I was just laboring on the toilet and then all of a sudden, my midwife was just coming in here guiding me to the stool and I was like, Wait, what? She was like, “Let's come have a baby.” I'm like, “What, really?” I couldn't believe that what was happening was happening but I was so zoned into doing this birth, having this VBAC, and then all of a sudden, I realized I was doing that. I was actually doing that. Jolie: Yeah. I think when you have C-sections and when you have any sort of difficulties in your births, your mind clings onto those phrases that people say like, “Oh, your baby is too big. You're not going to open.” Meagan: Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Jolie: It makes you feel like this miraculous thing must happen for me to give birth because it didn't work the other times so how in the world? Trumpets need to be blaring and some crazy thing has to happen for this to work but it doesn't and it was just like, Oh. That was it. Meagan: This is normal. Jolie: Yeah, the thing that didn't feel normal was actually the surgical births but the thing that felt normal was the VBAC so it was very interesting but after he came out, they were like, “That's a big baby.” He pooped twice before we got out of the tub like pretty big poops so then by the time my midwife weighed him, she knew that he had already pooped, but I think he weighed 10, 14 so she was like, “He totally was 11 pounds coming out. If I weighed him before he took those ginormous poops.” That was shocking and not expected at all. Meagan: Yeah girl! Jolie: That was really cool that it was not even a part of it because I didn't get any late-term ultrasounds. Looking back, people definitely kept asking me if I was having twins. They were like, “Wow. You look really big.” I just was like, “Ha, ha. I get it. I'm pregnant.” You know the things people say. I'm like, Maybe I actually did look larger than normal because this child could pass for two babies as twins. Yeah. He was almost 11 pounds. I did have one tear that I chose for her to not suture, but that was it. That was the birth. Meagan: Wow, and a surprise big baby. Think about how there are a lot of times in the provider's world of the hospital where they see someone who is a larger baby and they are wanting to do those third-trimester ultrasounds and growth scans and they are like, “What?” When really you didn't need any of those things, you just needed time. And a 43-week baby. I had one of my beginning doula clients and she was 43 weeks and 1 day as well. I mean, it was a 10-pound baby as well. It was 10,12 I think. That girl just powerhoused that baby out but she was getting pressure to get induced at 39 weeks. She was feeling all of that pressure. “Oh, your baby is looking big. You look so big. You are small. I don't know if this is going to be possible.” Then she switched at I think 41 weeks then she went to 43 and 1 and just had a beautiful, vaginal birth. I love that. Okay, so there are so many things. Something that I caught in your story was with your second midwife or with your second provider with your second baby. Everyone said, “This midwife, this midwife,” so you went with this midwife then you realized it wasn't the midwife for me. I think that is something that is important to note especially when we have our supportive provider list, right? We have this list and we're providing these names where people will rant and rave for days and days and days about some of these providers so you're like, Yeah, great. The whole community is going to this provider or whatever. Then you're in that situation and you just take that word for it, but then you get into that situation of birthing and you're realizing, Oh crap. This isn't right. There were red flags and I didn't recognize them because I was just going off of what everybody else said. I just think it's important to note that even though everybody or people might say this provider is the only provider or the best provider that it doesn't mean they are the best provider for you. It really comes back down to what that provider is looking like for you in your mind. Close your eyes. Envision your birth. Think about what they are saying, what they are doing, how they are caring for you. Think about the questions you want to ask them and go and really ask these people these questions that are really something for you. I love that you talked about that with your third midwife how you were like, “These are the qualities I was looking for.” It took you a while to find it but you found it. I love also that you pointed that out. Really you guys, I can't say it enough. Finding a provider when you are not pregnant is night and day from finding a provider when you are. Jolie: Yeah. There was no pressure. I felt like I could be so much more confident in saying no because I didn't feel like I had to say yes. Meagan: Yeah and honestly, our minds are in a different space. Even Dr. Fox a few episodes back talked about that how that is a really great thing to do because we are emotional. We feel pressure. There's time. Our baby is growing and each week matters to find that provider. It's a very different thing. It's a very different thing. Okay and then in your form, we talked about this a little bit before but you talked about radical responsibility and the word radical just stands out to me now because of our radical acceptance episodes that Julie and I have done. We've done two of them so if you guys haven't listened to those, go back and listen. There is a part one and a part two. How would you describe radical responsibility or finding radical responsibility to our audience? Jolie: Yeah. I think that it comes with a lot of coming face-to-face with some core beliefs because for me, when I was realizing was that we all day, “You are the one that cares the most about your baby and your body.” Okay. I think most people can agree that's true. But then how do you actually walk that out when you are pregnant? Because what can happen is you can be subconsciously deciding that this person over here is going to make sure I'm safe, is going to make sure my baby is safe, and is going to do all of these things for me when in reality, I believe that nobody outside of you can guarantee that safety. As a Christian, I believe that I don't even hold the keys to life and death. If that's what we're going to talk about, at the core of all of this stuff, people when they are pregnant, you want your baby after you are born and that's a thing. So that's kind of your basic line. I had to come to grips with even just the reality at its deepest core of, Okay. So if I'm pregnant and I have this baby growing inside of me and I want to birth this way for these reasons, I need to own this. If my midwife recommends I eat this way or do it. She's not going to come over and feed me. She's not going to text me everyday and ask if I took my supplements or went on a walk. That's goes into something else I'd like to mention if we have time of just handling all the things in birth. But with the responsibility aspect, it's hard to pin down but I think that it just boils down to realizing where you have control and where you don't have control and are you giving any control to someone else or are they just there to support you? There was an element where I was at where I wasn't wanting to do a free birth. I know there are very strong opinions for that or with unassisted– different terms and all of these things– but I did glean a lot from books I was reading about unassisted birth because I wanted to feel like I could make decisions with my midwife's support and not the other way around. It wasn't her making the decision and making sure I was on board with it. It was more like, This is what I want to do and I'm going to work with you because I did hire you and I actually hired you more for the essence of womanly support. Midwife means “with women” so I wanted this relationship. The relationship I cultivated with midwife was more of a sisterhood/friendship where I was like, “I need you in my birth. I hired you because I know you have incredible skills and I know that you can use these skills if something arises where I need to do something different in my birth, but more than that, I know that you know that you're not responsible for certain things and I'm not responsible for certain things but we are working together and you are there for me on an emotional level.” That was more important to me. Meagan: I love that. Jolie: Not everybody is going to be there for our births but I think if you're listening and that resonates with you like, I've taken some power and put it in other people or I'm holding my provider responsible for x, y, z at the end of the day, I would just work through that and base those thoughts and beliefs and see if you think there needs to be a change in your perception on responsibility and what we control or don't control. We have to surrender which is incredibly difficult. Meagan: Yes. It is but I love that you are talking about that. We have to walk in. We have to own it but we also have to work together. I like that you said, “I don't want her to have to convince me of this. I want to know what I'm talking about and work with her with this situation.” A lot of the time we have to do that with providers where we need to come in and work together and not be patient versus provider. It just needs to be a collaboration but at the same time, we have to take ownership into everything that we can. Okay, so we were talking about this and you mentioned that you wanted to talk about all the things. We talked about getting enough food, making sure we get the right supplements which we know here at The VBAC Link, I'm very passionate about getting the right supplements and then finding the right provider and figuring out what to do with the kids. There are so many things. Jolie: There are so many things. Yeah, I can talk about that for a minute because I think there are so many things that you can obsess over or shut down over. So one of the things that this goes into my tips of if you are going for a VBAC, here are some tips. A holistic approach– when I say holistic, I mean body, mind, and spirit. There are a lot of things we can do for our bodies when we are pregnant– the nutrition, the walks, the exercises, the Spinning Babies gymnastics. There are all of these body-focused things but you also need to be working on your mind and how you are doing in your mind which was huge for me. I found a birth course and worked with this incredible group of people. They are called Mind Change, but her birth course I think I sent you is called Transforming Birth. It's all about subconscious stuff and rewiring your brain to have different pathways for your birth. Anyway, that's my plug for that. But going into it, prepare your mind for birth. Actually think about what you do want and not what you don't want. Think about what you don't want. Have a plan. You need to have a plan for your provider. Of course, that's responsible. But put that away and spend the real-time immersing yourself in what you want it to look like. And then just your spirit. You could make a whole list of all the things you need to do, but the key is in how you approach it because I remember in one of my previous births, one of them that was a C-section, somebody had said one time– it might have just been on social media, “Oh, I went to the chiropractor every week for my birth and I got this wonderful, fast labor and I know it is because of the chiropractor.” I thought to myself, I went to the chiropractor every week. Why didn't I have a vaginal birth? It's not in the things. That's my main point which is so simple. You might hear that and be like, Duh. But it's in how you approach them. Going to the chiropractor regularly is great for your health but if you are doing it from a place of stress and control like, If I miss an appointment or if I don't hit 3 miles today, then actually, that's not helping you anymore and you should probably not do that and not go on that walk if you are feeling stressed out about having to go on the walk. Don't do it. Approach it from a place of peace and joy and acceptance going back to your radial acceptance. All of the things that can help you in your pregnancy are wonderful, but take them one at a time and make sure that when you're going on your walk, when you have your supplements, you're taking them from a place of peace and acceptance and then it can be helpful for you. One of the– I'll just share one small example of how I did this with my third pregnancy that I didn't really have this frame of mind with my previous two. There was a certain supplement. I can't remember what it was called. It was a combination of herbs that helped ripen your cervix. A lot of people recommend it for VBACs at the end. Meagan: Like Birth Prep? Jolie: It wasn't Birth Prep. It was 5 weeks or something. It had something to do with 5 or 7. There was a number in it and it's like a holistic supplement that has supportive herbs in it for ripening your cervix so I remember coming across this information while I was pregnant and just thinking, Okay. I looked it up. It was all sold out on line and I was like, I feel like in my mind I'm thinking I have to do this to get the VBAC. This is going to help me. If I don't get it, then what's going to happen?  I ended up talking to my midwife about it and she actually had some. She was like, “Oh yeah, I do love this supplement. I have some and they are all sold out right now.” I was like, “I'll take it. I'm going to let you know if I'm going to start taking it. Please ask me if I'm taking it out of a stressful, controlling way or if I'm taking it from a place of peace because depending on the way I answer, I need accountability to not actually do it,” because I wanted to be able to receive it in a way of support in general. That's what she told me. “It's not going to hurt you. They are wonderful herbs that will just strengthen and tone your uterus so you can take it,” but I knew I needed to be in a frame of mind where it wasn't like, this is going to be the thing. This is just a small example of how I embodied that reality of if this is going to stress me out, even if it's a good thing, I'm not going to do it. Meagan: Yeah, okay. I love that so much within our own community and other communities where it's like, You guys, I have 5 days to get this baby out or they're going to make me have a C-section, so then we have this stressful overreaction to do anything we can to get that baby out and actually what it's doing is creating more stress in our body which is not going to help our cervix. I love that message. I do not know what you're talking about exactly like what they used. Herbs are great, but I love that. Do things with intent and purpose. Don't do things out of fear or out of worry or out of pressure. Do things because you think they are right and because you think this is what you need to be doing, not because you're stressed about something. I'm just going to leave that right there because I love that message so much. Thank you so much again for sharing your stories and congrats on your HBAC after two C-sections. Jolie: Thank you, yeah. ClosingWould you like to be a guest on the podcast? Fertility Clinic nurse assistant studies female anatomy.By thomas_dean. Subscribe & listen to the Podcast at Steamy Stories. Chapter 7: Pillow TalkI may have spoken of the much about my romantic interludes, sex play with my husband Jerry during my internship at the Fertility Clinic in my last year in college. I sighed 'husband' and 'wife' had become archaic words officially, but everyone in heterosexual relations still used those words in lieu of the official term `partner.' In a reflective moment cuddling, "Partners," Jerry had dismissed much modern parlance, "Sounds like something cowhands said to other guys in the old Western Movies."With both of us in school and working, our quest for physical intimacy tended to result in a quick, but spirited struggle, a wrestling match, Jerry called sexercises. There was only precious moments for a little cuddling time which generates pillow talk. As days grew longer and time in school shortened, we suddenly found more time for each other."Have you thought what you'll do after you graduate?" Jerry asked the frightening question. Up to now my hectic schedule, at school and work, gave me little time to ponder that the curtain would close on this life shortly. My mornings began early. I was due in at the Clinic at 5:45 AM. I had to give myself extra time. On my way to the bathroom on those mornings, Jerry's strong hand often landed on my shoulders. I'd feel the stumble of his whiskers rubbing against my neck, especially if I awoke still in my improvised PJs, worn panties and Jerry's raggy tee shirt."Jerry," I'd chide him, "Why do I know that if I find myself wearing my panties when I wake, it was good to have allowed extra time to get ready?" Wrestling me to the ground to take me from behind, Jerry quickly whipped my night clothes off. We rocked together till he came. "All too quickly," I pouted, "even if you never make me late for work."On my birthday, Jerry presented me with a harem girl PJs, a flimsy cotton bra and baggy bloomers tight at the waist and mid-calf ballooning out in between. "Hmm," I inspected the present, "Sheer. They should slide off easily enough when your projectile rules your brain."Contrary to his rough grab and tumble style, ritualizing the extraction procedure practiced in the Fertility Clinic dominated our sex play. Jerry played the docile partner when we reenacted my experiences at work.As much as I tried to keep my work life as an Intern at the Fertility Clinic entirely separate from my life at home, my husband Jerry's fascination with my role in assisting the drawing of sperm from virile young men occupied not only what few moments we could spare for our table talk, but also our sex play. Lounging on our couch with Jerry in my harem girl outfit, a loose fitting, billowy PJ bottom and matching cotton bra, Jerry appeared to be more intrigued than concerned. "It's a mechanical process," Jerry recognized, "without an emotional attachment. Kind of like the short-arm inspection in the service."Joining the nursing assistants in what we dubbed 'The Walk of Shame,' strolling nude from the locker where we stowed our street clothes to the employees' showers, Dr. Velour, exchanging pleasantries, smiled as she watched my eyes follow her double double D boobs bouncing with her every stride. "You're married to a male partner. Right? I meant to ask you," Dr. Velour got directly to the point, "how does your partner feel about your role in harvesting semen?""My husband," I paused for emphasis before continuing the response, "Jerry regards it as a process, like drilling for oil." I paused. "The clinic produces a yield and sells its product aloof from any personal commitment beyond professional pride in the product. The physical contact is incidental to the process, entirely impersonal without an emotional dimension."Snuggling with Jerry on the couch, I exclaimed, "Truth," I paused for emphasis, "could never have been better said! How could my work in extracting sperm from a male donor be any different from operating a pump?" I shot Jerry an expression of benign innocence as I plucked his member from his boxers. "All we do is work the handle to draw fluid from the well. A pure question of hydraulics. You're the engineering student. All that is little more than Archimedes Principles at work," I declared.Told of Jerry's description of inducing an emission as an application of the principles of `sexual hydraulics,' Dr. Velour described Jerry's reaction as objective with a bias toward structural analysis that she'd might expect from an engineering student. Pausing to think, Dr. Velour remarked, "It's good you have support at home. Some women might eh—not want to be so open with a partner. Surprisingly—men are different.""Jerry is so fascinated with my work at the Fertility Clinic," I shook my head, "We reenact the procedures to draw sperm. Interaction, says Jerry, might stimulate the donor, but the purpose is impersonal to draw the product, not to administer pleasure.""Hmm, there is," Dr. Velour raised her penciled in eyebrows, "a slender difference between the pleasure of business," She smiled, "and the business of pleasure, one wavering on a subtle question of purpose, intent and motivation."I chuckled. "Motivations, that's my field in Industrial Psychology."On the couch with Jerry cuddling up in a rare precious moment, I nested my breasts into his bare hairy chest. The outline of erect nipples proudly jutted out in the soft cotton fabric of the harem girl top. Whispering provocatively, I tapped Jerry's chest with the tip of my index finger, "two romantically motivated people putting their heads together can have more fun than one guy hitched to a post to jerk off."Then came the moment I dreaded. An aroused and tempted Jerry, brushing past the thin elastic band of my baggy bloomers, seized the flesh of my ass in his hand and kneaded it for a full minute before his hand reached over my hip and plunged down toward my pubes. "Slick!" Jerry's shriek ventured into such a high octave it sounded as if I had yanked his testicles. "When did this happen? If you wanted to go bald down there, why didn't you let me shave you?" Jerry cried.I sighed. "Shaving is so passe," I protested, "To avoid infections, hospitals, these days, use depilatory creams. No nicks, no cuts, no razor burns, thank god!" I exclaimed. At the entrance to the shower, I stood with Dr. Velour. Tilting her head back in a moment of reflection, Dr. Velour placed a firm hand on my bare shoulder. A shot of electricity ran through my body. My breath quickened; my nipples hardened, but I was confused. Velour was a woman.I had classified myself as a heterosexual. That's what it said on my marriage license in the statistical section-a totally private declaration not available to the public or even to `my partner,' but of course was available to the advertisers who loaded down our mailbox.Dr. Velour remarked, "Much of what we do here in the clinic to some outsiders may seem a semantic shuffle. It is unlawful for say a brother and sister to have sex, but a client seeking certain features might request a sister be inseminated by her brother's sperm.""Hmm, perfectly legal?" I inquired."Yes, but what are the ethics," Dr. Velour continued the hypothetical, "of inseminating a woman with sperm from a male with whom she could not legally have sex? From the perspective of your discipline, could you prepare me an opinion of whether we should tell the sister that she's being inseminated by her brother? Are you up to it?""A project of that nature would be difficult, lasting well beyond the few days I have left in school-and in this internship." I was reminded of Jerry's gut-wrenching question. Also, to graduate, I had finals to study for. I daringly raised the issue, "Could this project lead to a permanent job?"With a pleasant smile, Dr. Velour announced, "Perhaps, then I should consider rounding out your experience here at the clinic. I think it's time to advance your nurse-trainees' group to the next level, the female's body. The female body, like the female mind, is far more complex. I'll summon the rest of the group to meet downstairs in the theatre."Inside the shower, Dr. Velour seemed to vanish into the misty droplets that permeated the room before it condensed in dips on the tiled wall. I guessed Dr. Velour was in a hurry to accomplish some tasks before a training session. After rinsing off, I told the clerk, "I need scrubs for Dr. Velour's Nursing Assistant training.""Next level?" To my nod, the Clerk advised with a pleasant smile, "Congratulations, promoted to tend to females." A disarming smile filled her face when she reminded me, "With each little step the next one becomes that much easier.""Now, if that leads to a full-time job after graduation ..." I shook my head."Today," the clerk noted as she handed me a package, "you get the Nursing Assistant's full kit—scrubs, your very own plastic name tag, granny panties, bra and white sneakers.""I suppose I could attach the plastic name tag to the Shower Siren's top-the white bikini top the girl who works the donor's shower sports, but," I smiled, "there's something—a special eh, different appeal—to the nurse's scrubs," I remarked as I accepted the uniform. "Clothing defines the person and their role."On the couch with Jerry, I tried to conceal my delight over Jerry's present of harem girl pajamas. Holding the bottoms in front of me, I tried to assume a clinical tone in my comment, "tight at the waist and ankle, puffing out in between. Thin waist band may have trouble holding the bottoms up."To Jerry's smile, I shook my head. "I guess they're not intended to stay up. But this bra," I pulled the two ends to test it, "Cotton, no elastic, do you think this bra is sturdy enough to bind my wrists."Jerry responded with a devilish grin. Tilting my head, I smiled. "I guess you prefer to whip these PJs off my body to use me like a whore." With an evil smile, I added, "I should be proud to accept this gift as your candid appraisal of eh, my talents, quite a complement.""Clothing does add something," Jerry quipped, "even if I don't figure that you'll need it all night long."Receiving the scrubs from the clerk reporting in after showering at the Fertility Clinic, I reflected, "Scrubs do lend an air of authority." My comment drew a polite half smile and a nod.Fully dressed in fresh scrubs, I walked with an air of confidence as passed by co-workers moving toward the ramp that led to the subsurface level gym, pool and theatre. Trading pleasantries, I enthusiastically declared, "class exercises today, Introduction to Female Anatomy."When I entered the small theatre next to Dr. Velour's office, the other nursing assistant trainees, Cassie, employed by the clinic's gym, muscles bulging under short sleeved scrubs, Pat, the big breasted college girl, participating in an experiment at the Clinic and dark-haired Beth the oldest of the group had previously acted as a surrogate mother. All turned their heads to look when I entered, as if they had been waiting. Waiting for what? I wondered. What was up?On stage, Dr. Velour stood hand resting on a gynecological table. "Amy," Dr. Velour beckoned to me in a pleasant but officious tone, "how good of you to join us." To her left side in a corner of the stage rested a 5 foot by 5 foot white privacy screen. Inviting me on the stage, Dr. Velour announced, "Ladies, our study of anatomy of the female begins. Amy, would you go behind the screen, disrobe and put on a gown for us."I shook my head. "Why did you waste time by having me dress?" I allowed a tone of annoyance of enter my voice. "An anatomical model needs no costume.""The gown is optional, Amy," Dr. Velour, raising her eyebrows, snapped, "at your discretion.""You're going to poke and prod," I replied, "the gown will just be getting in the way."Undressing quickly behind the screen, I dismissed the fear that I was being submissive. Jerry taught me that he got over the rigors of the Marine Corps by responding enthusiastically to outrageous orders and overdoing it. "They're trying to cow you. But, if you show you can't be humiliated, they'll think you're crazy and leave you alone."Emerging from behind the screen, I held my arms out, "tah dah!" The faces of the nurse-trainees fell; Even Dr. Velour looked away. No one laughed. I had humiliated them. "I've exhibited my virtues. What's next?" I demanded. After a deep breath, Dr. Velour recovered from her surprise. "Lesson One is prepping, but first we have an initial evaluation," Dr. Velour pointed to my hair "hair clean, skin clear, breasts symmetric, no obvious discoloration of the nipples. You'll notice Amy has untamed pubic hair, slightly darker than her auburn hair."Ordered to turn around, I felt a tingle when Dr. Velour laid sturdy hands on my bare shoulders and grabbed the flesh around my hips. Tickling me by running a fingernail down my spine, Dr. Velour complimented me, "good posture."Stood on a scale on the right side of the stage, I measured in at 5 foot 2 and weighed 115 pounds. I jumped when Dr. Velour placed the cold steel of the stethoscope against my bare chest wall to listen to my heartbeat. With a playful, slap on my bare tush, she ordered me up on the table. I felt my fanny with great exaggeration like a chastised child.Placing my feet in the stirrups, Dr. Velour invited the other trainees on stage. "To examine the vulva, the female's external genitalia thoroughly, there is only one way: first remove the pubic hair." Leaning over to address me, Dr. Velour asked my permission, "Is that OK with you, Amy?"I had already decided to co-operate. "I'm willing for the cause of-science, but what do I tell my guy?" I asked in an exaggerated plaintive voice.Momentarily stunned, Dr. Velour hesitated. After a delay, she spoke, "You may tell your guy. `I was lucky," Dr. Velour took a breath, "`I wasn't shaved. My curly mess was trimmed by an experienced person, not a trainee and the hair was vaporized by a gentle cream."Turning to her audience, Dr. Velour discoursed, "In the course of human evolution, hairless bodies with smooth, clear skin signaled good health. Even though women are naturally less hirsute, sexual selection, ie attraction of a mate, may be the female's hidden agenda in her preference for bare pubes. Motivations and preferences are your field, Amy." Dr. Velour threw the question back to me, "Do you have any thoughts?""As far as male donors," I replied, "and female surrogates, the clinic insists that all females participating in our programs as well as male donors be shorn-With the male a clean pubic region assures that the iron jock strap fit snuggly. Also, it makes visual examination of the reproductive organs easier-for signs of infection or injuries.""In the outside world," Dr. Velour lectured, "some women and men remove body hair for aesthetic purposes; others for hygienic purposes; still many others as a matter of arbitrary choice. Soon, each of you will begin depilating the body hair of a patient. However, first you must watch it done. Amy, with your permission, I'm going to depilate your pubic hair." When I deliberately hesitated, Dr. Velour prodded me, "Are you ready?""I hear short skirts are coming back," I replied enthusiastically, "this is free grooming.""First, we comb the pubes for lose hair from the external genitalia, the perineum under the vaginal orifice and the perianal skin around the anus. Pat," Dr. Velour calling the college girl forward, "You're in the milk induction study and regularly are groomed here. Could you show Amy how it's done?" When Pat snatched the fine-toothed comb, Dr. Velour, grasping Pat's hand to guide Pat through the tangled web over my pubic mound, pleasantly reminded her, "gently."Summoned to the stage, Cassie was handed a damp rag and told to clean my pubic region. "This will remove whatever loose hairs and dirt the comb did not pick up." Beth was invited to scissor clip my bush. Beth pleasantly chattered away before she left me with stubble. "Good bedside manner," Dr. Velour complimented Beth, "Now I'll take over and apply the cream."Taking a small jar of cream, "nothing works better than my own special concoction," Dr. Velour assured me. "I'm going to rub the depilatory cream into the inguinal crease, the boundary, often hairy, between the thigh and the pelvis." The sensation was pleasant when she worked the cream into the crease massaging the outer edge of my vaginal lips in the process. When I reacted to her circular motions rubbing the cream in an arc across my mound, by attempting to rear up my butt, struggling against the stirrups, she, in comforting almost hypnotic tones whispered, "Close your eyes. Relax. Breathe easily. Think of yourself somewhere else with your guy, except he's doing it your way."Her voice-or was it some property in the cream-sent me into an altered state. I chose not to fight it. I was vaguely aware that Dr. Velour was addressing the ladies, "While we wait for the depilatory cream did as instructed, we can continue to study the vulva, older texts may call the area between the legs the pudendum. In the center is the vestibule of the vaginal orifice. Superior to the vaginal vestibule is the urinary orifice and the clitoris, the analogue to the male penis, and the seat of much-eh, eh --," she giggled, "mischief."I'm pretty sure she smiled as a gloved finger prodded the clitoris. "Distal to the vaginal," Dr. Velour expounded, "vestibule are the vaginal lips or labia, the fleshy folds that surround the opening the vagina. Hair can grow in the pudendal cleft the crease or crevice between the ridges of the major and minor labia. Let me work some cream there."My heart was palpitating as she worked the crease between the vaginal lips. "The inner lips," Dr. Velour taught, "the labia minora link up superior to the clitoris at the frenulum or prepuce and inferior to the clitoris at the glans clitoris or clitoral hood."I was there, listening to the lecture, but no longer cared anymore. I was hoovering on the edge of an orgasm when Dr. Velour's nimble fingers outlines the folds around the clitoral hood. "Inferior to the vaginal vestibule are the perineum and the anal cavity," Dr. Velour addressed the trainees, "still covered in the depilatory cream."

Fertility clinic nurse explores magic of sex play in study.By thomas_dean. Subscribe & listen to the Podcast at Steamy Stories. Chapter 4: Fun & Games People Play.My tall and muscular husband Jerry, pleasantly bemused, encouraged my studies and offered his body for practice."First, I wash my hands and introduce myself," I went through my checklist, "Good morning Mr.Warbler. I'm Nursing Assistant Amy Warbler. After I release you from chastity, I'm going to conduct a testicular exam, a complete physical inspection of the genitalia, the penis, scrotum, and testicles.""Oh, please do," said Jerry with a smile.I moved his chin to the right and ordered Jerry to put his hands on his head.Passing my written and practical test, with Jerry's help, I found myself in a somewhat more staid, professionalized environment. On duty, I was addressed as Miss Warbler. I wore medical scrubs replete with a name tag that identified me as a Nursing Assistant.Co-opting in the trial run-through for the hands-on portion of the exam, Jerry complained that I should borrow surgical scrubs for more realism in my exam. "There's something to the medical accoutrements, the scrubs, the name tag, and the stethoscope that promote cooperation of the subject."With Jerry's size and strength, I needed all the help the prop of an improvised costume could bring to assure his pliancy. To accommodate Jerry's quest for realism, I wore one of his white shirts, backwards, over a loose, billowy pj bottom. I preferred the short sleeve shirt to tease Jerry with a glimpse at my breasts. Jerry's T-Shirt fit loose enough; I only buttoned the top button to make sure the top flowed with my movement. To Jerry's suggestion that, on duty, I wear a bra or a T-shirt under the scrubs, I reminded him that paying customers give tips."Tips for Tits!" Jerry exclaimed. "You must model this exceptional garment for me. Bring a pair home.""To leave at the end of my shift," I replied, "I have to walk naked from a communal shower along a steel mesh parapet for 100 paces. How can I spirit scrubs out of the clinic?"Still, even after elevation to a demi-professional caste, we had to strip, stow our street clothes in a locker, and walk naked along a catwalk about 100 feet to communal showers. Instead of the 4AM race of the cleaning crew to the showers, we leisurely strolled to the showers. One of the women walked with the man, idly chatting. Next to me walked a cherubic brunette Darrie. "Think of it as short for Darling," she told me."Appropriate name," I replied, "for the angel who releases the male donor from the cock block to release the built-up eh—tension.""Angel Darlin', now that would be a nice name," Darrie chuckled, "the guys call the nurse in the locker the Angel of Mercy. We call her the `Warden.'"In our practice for my hands on exam, Jerry expressed interest in experiencing me in the role of the Angel of Mercy."Not ready to recognize me as your warden," I chided Jerry.Perhaps, Jerry suggested as he stood naked in front of me that I should have obtained permission to borrow a chastity belt for that purpose. "The clinic might have allowed issuance of the belt, but not the electronic notebook. You might find a chastity grows on you. Without the release button on the electronic notebook, you'll find the belt is easier to get into than to get out of."Under the spigot next to me, Darrie, looking around the shower, sighed. "You're new. The only problem with working at the Fertility Clinic is," a silly expression appeared on her face, "it grows on you.""Quite an interesting comment," I replied, "about an institution designed to grow eh, people.""The longer you are here," Darrie smiled, "the more you're bound up in it, the harder it is to leave, and the more you find yourself willing to do."Though there were enough spigots in the shower for us to keep a respectful distance from each other, we tended to congregate within arms' reach of each other. "I'm going to help you-just for the first few customers-In the locker-just to show," Darrie proposed, "you how to handle eh, the ropes." We both giggled together before she asked, "Soap up my back, will you be a luv?"Turning her back to me, Darrie waited for me to apply a washcloth from the short hairs of her neck to her shoulder blades down to her butt. "Are you married, luv?" When I acknowledged, she prodded me, "to a guy?" At my nod, she added, "you'd do well as shower girl, but today you play warden, unlock them on the way in and lock them tight on the way out."At the clothing counter, Darrie recommended that I wear a T-Shirt under the scrubs, "It being your first time, you might not want guys gaping at your swinging tits.""Tits bring Tips," I quipped. In my practice with Jerry, I went through the protocol: "Second, once the subject has disrobed, the subject should present naked standing in front of you. Some prefer to perform the examination kneeling to the side of the patient. Most examiners prefer to stand to conduct an initial appraisal of the subject's general condition.""Hands on your head, Mr.Warbler, if you please, legs apart," I ordered in a cheerful voice."Why do you need to keep an eye on my hands?" Jerry asked. "Does a 90 lb woman facing fear losing control over a naked, sex crazed man recently sprung from chastity?""Interesting choice of words," I replied. When Darrie and I peeked in the male donor's locker, three or four men completely undressed were milling about inside. Darrie pointing out a fair skinned nervous sort criss-crossing his chest with his arms, "Probably, the new guy, Mr.Flesher," she surmised.Naked except for an inverted triangular shaped dome covering their crotches, the men awaited release. Standing at the entrance the male donor's locker, Darrie whispered, "Unexpected things," an evil smile peered on her lips, "especially with new donors can happen when the projectile is unleashed. Never stand directly in the path of an eruption."We both giggled when I quipped, "Interesting concept."Entering the male donor's locker, Darrie barked, "Line up," Darrie pointed to a line down the middle of the room, "Hands on your heads, the one on top of your head you think with, if you expect your schlong to swing."There were some catcalls from the guys lining up. One called out, "Wear a bra if you're afraid I'll cop a feel.""While I keep your schlong locked," Darrie shot back, "fondling my tits in a moment of joy will bring your cock quite a shock.""You just want to smell my pits," screeched another."Just to check, forsooth," Darrie quipped, "underarms remain smooth and clean and not hirsute." Darrie leaned over to give me advice at an audible whisper, "it's good to keep chappies happy by wiggling your tush and acting a little sassy.""Consider this a eh, dress rehearsal. You're suitably naked and I'm in an improvised nurse's costume," I commenced a test-run of the examination. As Jerry stood hands over his head, I announced the next step, "Third," pausing to seize his penis for examination, I continued, "thoroughly inspect the penis frontal and dorsal,-eh all sides for lumps, swellings, ulcers or scars."At my touch, I could feel Jerry's penis begin to pulsate and gel from flaccid to rubbery. I noticed Jerry's lips pursing. I heard my heart pounding in my chest. Breathlessly, in a dreamy voice combining technical book learning with pillow talk, I gushed, "think of the penis as engineering miracle of erectional hydraulics, a natural pump capable of accomplishing a surge of blood flow within seconds. When the penis swells with blood, the pelvic floor muscles launch the penis eh, into ecstasy."Ecstasy? I questioned myself. That's contrary to protocol which impersonalized intimate contact. Putting aside the delicacy of social conventions, I, focusing on the objective, must conduct procedures by the book step-by-step. The heart may beat faster, the temperature may rise, but the purpose of intimate contact is professional. "Physical contact with a female nurse during a delicate examination can produce a natural reaction in a male patient," I reassured Jerry."Priming the pump triggers the launch. I hope so," Jerry replied.Announcing as we swept into the locker room, "Gentlemen prepare to launch your rockets, 10-9 -8-7 ...," Darrie pushed a button on her notepad. The clang of the plastic covers falling to the ground followed. While I collected the fallen shields, Darry declared, "Fun time! Examination of the genitalia."When she reached Mr.Flesher who managed to conceal himself at the end of the line, he was shaking; his fair skin was burnished red. In a soothing voice, Darry assured Flesher, "There's no shame in a natural reaction to physical contact with a female during a genital examination."Hushing the other men, Darrie sent them into the shower, noting, "Go take care of what you came here to do."As the other men filtered out into the shower, Darrie called me over. "Mr.Flesher," she addressed him, maintaining eye contact, "Let me introduce Amy Warbler, our new Nursing Assistant. I need to report to Dr. Velour our boss that Nurse Warbler is fully capable of conducting exams on her own. Can you help me teach our Nurse Warbler the art of an intimate examination? It'll only take a sec. Then you can get hitched to the hitching post for release. That's what you came here for, right?"In practicing with Jerry, I pronounced, "Fourth, inspect the scrotum. Hmm," I interjected, "I get to keep hold of your joystick. Moving the penis out of the way, inspect all sides of the scrotum. Lift the scrotum to check its underside."In the locker, Darrie thanked Mr.Flesher, "Good! My examination will only take a couple more minutes before you're on your way to the hitching post, release and ecstasy."In my dry run with Jerry, I reached the Fifth stage "palpating," I interjected, "that's an inflated medical term for examining by touch, the testicles.""Inflated? That's an interesting word. Sounds like fun," Jerry's laughter went into the falsetto range when I pinched a testicle."With my thumbs and index fingers," I explained, "I roll the testes between the fingers to detect potential abnormalities. Feel along the duct work, the epididymis tube and the duct deferens which deliver the sperm for ejaculation.""Go easy," Jerry's voice ventured into the falsetto range."That wasn't so bad. Your examination is over," I advised Jerry, "You're free to have fun. Thank you for being such a good boy," I patted his tush, "for behaving yourself and cooperating." I turned my back on Jerry to take off my gloves and drop them in the bathroom."Free!" Jerry exclaimed. When I felt his hands gripping me. Lifted off my feet, I felt the pj bottoms slide away. Bent at the waist, I heard Jerry yell "I don't have to be good, no more, but it will be good."In the locker, Darrie concluded Flesher's examination. "Not so bad, was it? You passed your exam with flying colors," Darrie counselled Mr. Flesher, "You're dangling free. Go have fun with it!" As Flesher walked away, Dearie whispered, "never turn your back on a released donor."At home, Jerry exclaimed, "Time for fun." A wild expression cropped on his face. "The pump's been primed, the torrents will flow." I felt the warmth of his body nestle between the half-moons of my ass while his nimble fingers separated my vaginal lips. Then he hesitated."Go ahead. Fuck me." I ordered Jerry. Tease, denial and release, I wondered as I gasped when Jerry penetrated, was that the magic?Chapter 5: Nature of the AttractionIn my senior year in college, I worked several hours in the early morning before classes in a fertility clinic. It was part of my internship toward my degree in Industrial Psychology. In my rotation as a student intern in the clinic, I, through study and practical training, had earned a promotion out of maintenance into the Nursing Department as an assistant.Smart in her white lab coat and dark dress, Dr. Velour introduced the study to three nursing assistant candidates gathered in her office."We start our study with the male body because it is less complex, designed for an important, but momentary role in reproduction," Dr. Velour's word brought a ripple of giggling to the motley group of prospective nursing assistants."This is a business," Dr. Velour expounded, "We have to recruit livestock, groom their bodies, generate interest in purchasers, draw and refine the product and sell it. Initially, our question in dealing with the men, is what makes a man want to `bind his loins' in a cock-blocker, hitch his penis to a machine and discharge his seed into a hitching post? The answer at least initially is curiosity."I chuckled. Ever since I obtained this internship, my husband Jerry has beseeched me to sneak him in to test his equipment. Didn't I put out enough? I lay crunched up like a pretzel, hands bound behind my back with my bra, complaints squelched with panties in my mouth too often to think differently. It was hard to think of Jerry tied docilely to a hitching post at the Clinic to be jerked off. For foreplay, Jerry preferred wrestling me to the ground. Taken by surprise, forced face down, with Jerry strong hands tugging at the waistband of my jeans, I'd spur Jerry on by pleading, "Don't rip my clothes, Jerry. I don't get paid till next week."Was Jerry jealous or afraid my job involved physical contact with other men? No, Jerry was so curious so much so he wanted me to reenact the protocols in sperm extraction."You come to the clinic through different pathways, bringing different experiences to the study. Dr. Velour looked from student to student, "we have Amy, here, a student in Industrial Psychology at the local college. Perhaps with Amy's background in Industrial Psychology, she will develop a clearer idea the motivation of the persons involved in the people involved in the donation process. Amy?""My ugh-experience tells me curiosity is a good hypothesis," I replied. The room filled with chuckling, "Men are always looking for a new spot to anchor their spar in."When the laughter subsided, Dr. Velour pointed out a girl with muscular forearms and legs, "Next, we have Cassie. She's a gymnast who has been working in the gym; Pat," Dr. Velour pointed out a college girl like me, "a participant in our experiment in inducing the mammary glands to produce milk; and Beth," Dr. Velour pointed to a woman in her mid-thirties, "a surrogate.""Regardless of sex, however," Dr. Velour continued, "the brain is the largest sex organ. Oh, the body reacts to physical stimulation and once aroused can control the mind, but the mind creates the expectations in given situations.""Thus, because male body's function in reproduction is limited," Dr. Velour ex

Even Dr. Claire Weekes acknowledged this experience when writing about recovery many years ago. This week on Disordered we're talking about feeling MORE when you stop hiding from anxiety. This is often misinterpreted as "getting worse" but feeling more doesn't mean your anxiety, your symptoms, or your thoughts are getting worse. It's OK to feel things. “As the acceptance of expanded human potential gains mainstream momentum, the question has shifted from “What is possible in our lives?” to “How do we do it? How do we awaken our extraordinary potential in everyday life?” Welcome to PART 4 of our review of Dr. Joe Dispenza's work. Review of Chapter 4 of Dr. Joe Dispenza's Becoming Supernatural on The Blessing of the Energy Centers that requires us to now implement everything that we've learned in his book. ✔ The Power of Our Energy and Understanding Frequency. ✔ Using Our Mind to Imagine Our Energy and Thoughts ✔ Using our Focus and Concentration to Create Stronger More Powerful Thoughts ✔ How Energy Flows in Our Body: A Look at the 8 Chakras in Our Body ✔ Why We Want to Move Our Energy to the Top 4 Chakras in Our Body to CREATE NEW Ideas in Our Life. ✔ 5 Steps for Putting Dr. Dispenza's Blessing of the Energy Centers Meditation into Practice. Today we will continue our exploration of how exactly we live up to the full potential we all have within us, or like the name of Dr. Joe Dispenza's book, Becoming Supernatural: How Common People are Doing the Uncommon. Today as we cover PART 4 of this exploration we will identify clear strategies to awaken the extraordinary potential in each of us, and these will be evidence-based strategies, that are backed by science.  We will do this by looking at CH 4 of Becoming Supernatural, a book that is the first-of-its-kind manual that does precisely this: it leads us on a step-by-step journey to achieving our greatest potential in body, health, relationships, and our life purpose and allows us to make that journey at our own pace. Today we will cover Chapter 4 of this book, called “Blessing of the Energy Centers” we will learn exactly HOW to use this powerful energy that we all have, to CREATE something new in our life, or to direct this energy towards healing our body, or tap into increased creativity using our intuitive factors. Today, we bring all PARTS of our study together, and make it all applicable. We will also connect the science to this practice, and places on past podcast episodes where we can strengthen our understanding of these concepts that are difficult to apply, since we were not taught about how to manage our energy in school, nor were we taught about how to harness the power of a meditation practice for healing our body, or creating new results. But we will cover these fascinating topics on today's episode. I did want to mention how I love hearing from people from all over the world, with their experience of studying Dr. Dispenza's work. For many who've been on this journey for years, this is just a review, and reminder of different ways we can all continue to build on the knowledge we've learned over the years. Even Dr. Dispenza himself has mentioned the immense learning that took place for him over the years, which is a good reminder for all of us that we are all on a journey, in this thing called life, and it takes time to unlock our greatest potential. It Takes Time. Awareness. And Practice. I do hope that our review today helps us to ALL unlock more of the mysteries within the unseen world, as we learn to put these concepts into practice into our daily lives. I'm sure we will return to this series in the future, but this is where we will start our journey today. Welcome back to The Neuroscience Meets Social and Emotional Learning Podcast, where we connect the science-based evidence behind social and emotional learning (that's finally being taught in our schools today) and emotional intelligence training (used in our modern workplaces) for improved well-being, achievement, productivity and results—using what I saw as the missing link (since we weren't taught this when we were growing up in school), the application of practical neuroscience. I'm Andrea Samadi, an author, and an educator with a passion for learning and launched this podcast 5 years ago with the goal of bringing ALL the leading experts together (in one place) to uncover the most current research that would back up how the brain. For those tuning into this episode, and you've not listened to PART 1 EP 306[i] yet, PART 2 EP 310[ii]  or PART 3 EP 311[iii] I do encourage you to begin there. You will learn the background of where I first learned about Dr. Joe Dispenza's work, and see how he fits into what we've been covering on the podcast the past 10 seasons. For today's episode #313 “Decoding Our Thoughts: How to Build a Better Future with the Power of Our Mind” and PART 4 of our review of Dr. Joe Dispenza's work we will look at Chapter 4 of Becoming Supernatural, called “The Blessing of the Energy Centers” where we will now see how to put ALL of what we've learned into practice. Understanding the Power of Our Energy Understanding Frequency: What We Can See, And What We Cannot See The first part of understanding and using the potential that we each have within us, is with understanding Electromagnetic Frequencies, since we are all made of “either light and information” (Ch 4 Becoming Supernatural) or “energy and consciousness.” (Ch4 Becoming Supernatural). This was what our whole episode #312 with David Wong[iv] was about. He taught us of the importance of keeping our energy or frequency high at all times, with some ideas on how to raise our frequency and “tap into” higher levels for improved health, wealth and success. When we think of the unlimited power or potential that each of us holds within us, it's helpful to think of The Light Spectrum of Electromagnetic Frequencies that shows that there are some things (or frequencies) we can see, like visible light, and but others that we cannot see (like x-rays or even radio waves). This diagram clearly shows that “there's a sea of invisible frequencies” (Ch 4, Becoming Supernatural) that all carry “encoded information.” Just because we cannot see a certain frequency, it doesn't mean it isn't there. We ALL have access to this unlimited potential, or sea of possibility that we've talked about throughout this series that we know science has proven is there. Our body is made up of light/information and energy/consciousness and we are all conscious beings with a body that sends/receives frequencies just like a radio. Just like how we tune into a certain radio station and hear our favorite songs on that station. When we want to listen to different music, we change the station and tap into a different frequency. What Radio Station Are YOU Projecting Out to the World? We've talked about this before on the podcast, that it's important what we think and feel, because others can tap into our energy or frequency. You'll agree with me that some people project positive energy or vibes, while others, it's just the opposite. Remember that “ALL frequencies carry information.” (Ch 3, Becoming Supernatural). Using Our Mind to Image Our Energy As our energy increases (or the frequency speeds up) the wavelength decreases (look how the waves are closer together at the left of the diagram). As our energy decreases (or frequency slows down) the wavelength increases or the waves get longer and longer, at the right of the diagram. What does this mean? Think about it…lots of energy, lots of shorter waves, less energy, less and longer waves. This makes sense to me as we build momentum while working, our energy increases, and so do the waves we create. We can get into a rhythm where our energy carries us forward (whether we are physically tired or not) because we've built momentum with our energy versus when our energy slows down, it takes more time to build momentum. How to Use Our Mind to Increase the Amplitude of The Frequency of Our Thoughts I first attempted to explain this in my first book, The Secret for Teens Revealed (2008, Samadi, Page 75) on the Lessons on the Mind. You can see the image I drew in this book in the show notes. If I had my powerful strong thoughts on the left side, and the weaker, slower thoughts on the right side, it would match identically with Dr. Dispenza's diagram in Chapter 4 of his book on Electromagnetic Frequencies. What I wanted to show with this diagram, was that we can use the power of our mind, or our will, to increase the amplitude of each frequency to increases the power of our thoughts. What does this mean? Just put some effort into our thinking, (which is hard work to actually think a focused thought) but with practice, we can change weak thoughts, and turn them into more powerful and effective thoughts. IMAGE SOURCE: The Secret for Teens Revealed by Andrea Samadi (Page 75). I heard this quote the other day, which brings this image and idea to life. Henry Ford says that “Thinking is hard work. That's why there are so few people doing it.” This rings true to me, especially writing this series on Dr. Dispenza's work. I had to THINK hard while reading each chapter, and then take what I was learning, and see HOW exactly does this apply to our life. Thinking is hard work, and exhausting. This 4-part series spans over a 3-month period for exactly this reason, and we are only taking a shallow dive with this. When we are really using our mind to THINK new thoughts, it will take a lot of our energy to do this. Be sure that while you are applying the ideas in this 4-part series that you are getting plenty of rest while consolidating these ideas. Let's go back to understanding frequencies. I think by now you'll agree with me that we've painted a clear picture of different kinds of frequencies that exist in the world, and how we can tune into different frequencies just like tuning into different radio stations, with the suggestion to make our thoughts more powerful by using our will to concentrate, and increase the amplitude of thoughts. How Do We Learn To “Tune” Into Different Frequencies? This is where Dr. Dispenza launches us into the world of his meditations. We don't need to use his, we have mentioned many different meditations that you can use, and I'm sure that you will have your favorite. I wouldn't have even known about Dr. Dispenza's meditations[v] if that person hadn't have commented on our episode for raising our HRV levels, letting me know about Dr. Dispenza's Courageous Heart Meditation. Dr. Dispenza actually has a meditation called Blessing the Energy Centers[vi] that helps us to put this chapter into practice and there are 5 of them, starting with Level 1, and progressing through to Level 5. Before I explain what we will learn to do with this meditation, I've got to say that I loved to see how he mentioned this specific meditation will help us to improve our Convergent (narrow) and Divergent (going from narrow to more broad) Focus. Convergent and Divergent Thinking Revisited We dove deep into these two types of thinking on our 4th PART of The Silva Method.[vii] We covered this final part of creating something CREATIVE and INNOVATIVE by going back and forth between two types of thinking: Divergent Thinking: Where we take a known object in the world, and expand upon this idea, the more ideas the better, wandering through your ideas that you already know (from your memory bank) with the hopes that the connections you make reveals something new. Convergent Thinking: That's the opposite of divergent thinking, but it's where we use focus and persistence to narrow in on an idea helping us to make sense of it in the real world. We used Dr. Andrew Huberman's research in PART 4 of The Silva Method. If you want to dive deeper into Dr. Andrew Huberman's thorough explanation of Creativity and the Brain[viii], he takes things much deeper than we cover. He doesn't miss anything and even goes on to show us the parts of the brain that light up when we are involved in divergent vs convergent thinking, and the 2 types of meditation that are proven to improve each of these ways of thinking. He says that “open monitored meditation” (like just closing your eyes and paying attention to your thoughts without judgement) is well documented to improve our divergent thinking capability, and focused attention meditation (like staring at a flame of light) or Dr. Dispenza's Blessing of the Energy Centers that we are covering today is another way to improve our convergent thinking capabilities. Dr. Dispenza explains that his Blessing of the Energy Center Meditation, that takes us through each of our energy centers (or chakras) helps us to strengthen our divergent thinking ability (narrow focus) as we put our attention on each of the chakras in our body. Then we strengthen our convergent thinking ability when we take our focus off something narrow (our chakras) and expand our thinking into the Quantum World from something to no-thing which we know is a sea of possibility for us all to access, tapping into unlimited potential, creativity and innovation. How Does Energy Flow in the Body? We heard it from Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, from EP #307[ix] that in order to create balance in our body, he suggests that we learn how to balance our chakras. Dr. Dispenza explains in Chapter 4 of Becoming Supernatural that we have 8 chakras, and the first 3 (root, sacral and solar plexus) are the energy centers we use when we are in survival mode. The goal of his Blessing of the Energy Center Meditation is to learn how to open up each chakra, creating balance in our body, and open ourselves up to new ideas, and creativity as we move through all of our chakras, to the last one above our head. He reminds us to “not get stuck in the first 3 energy centers” (Ch 4, Becoming Supernatural) which reminded me of the famous and most misunderstand chapter from Napoleon Hill's famous Think and Grow Rich book, that was about The Transmutation of Sex Energy[x]. If you read this chapter, and wondered “how do we transmute our energy from a lower form to a higher” this chapter explains it. As we work on opening each chakra, moving past the first 3, and up to opening the heart, we will begin to feel more gratitude, and move into creative thinking, tapping into our subconscious mind. We will now be creating a coherent heart and brain, aligning our chakras, and NOW…the magic happens. This is the power behind Dr. Dispenza's Blessing of the Heart Meditations and this understanding can help us to apply this powerful technique of “blessing our energy center” opening up our heart and tapping into our subconscious mind to CREATE new ideas or opportunities in our future with this meditation (if we choose it) or another one that you might know of, that also allows you to open up your chakras. PUTTING THIS MEDITATION INTO PRACTICE: STEP 1: LISTEN to Dr. Dispenza's Blessing of the Energy Center[xi] and see how he takes us through each of the chakras. STEP 2: Notice when you are using Convergent (narrow focus) vs Divergent (opening your focus to the world) during this practice. STEP 3: Start your own meditation practice Blessing YOUR energy centers and see what you notice. STEP 4: Notice when you are stuck in the first 3 energy centers in survival mode. Work on moving to the heart chakra, opening up to more love and gratitude, which will take you towards more creativity and innovation in your daily life. While I know I'm not the best artist, I think you'll get the idea from the image I attempted to sketch out in the show notes. Our goal is to balance all 8 of our chakras, that will keep our energy field strong. If you see the image I drew on the right, this person is only operating from their first 3 chakras, and their energy field is diminished. When we are operating in survival mode it is very difficult to think, create and innovate. STEP 5: Write down any new insights that you gain from this practice. Over time you will be tapping into your subconscious mind where you will have access to the Quantum World we have been studying in the first 3 PARTS of this book study. This is where we will go to create something NEW and exciting in our future, with the power of our own mind. We will become Supernatural, and prove that common people, can truly do the uncommon. REVIEW AND CONCLUSION: To review and conclude episode #313 “Decoding Our Thoughts: How to Build a Better Future with the Power of Our Mind” and PART 4 of our review of Dr. Joe Dispenza's work, we covered Chapter 4 of his book, with 5 TIPS for putting the Blessing of the Energy Centers into practice. This is our final look at Dr. Joe Dispenza's book where you will see now why it's a shallow dive, not a deep one. This is just the beginning, and requires work from all of us to see the results from doing things a certain way. Just a reminder, in this 4 PART SERIES we covered PART 1: ✔ Chapter 1: Opening the Door to the Supernatural with some thoughts for you to put this chapter into practice in your daily life. Do you know what you REALLY want? Have you made a committed DECISION towards your goals? Have you let go of what others think of you, and surrendered to doing what it takes to achieve your goals? ✔ Chapter 2: The Present Moment, with some thoughts for you to put this chapter into practice in your daily life. Are you aware of the energy that you broadcast out into the world? (If not, have you asked others for feedback on how you show up in the workplace or family life?) Are you doing everything possible to move the needle towards your goals (or whatever it is that you are working on)? Have you made space for unknown events to occur in your life to move you forward?   IMAGE CREDIT: Andrea hand drew the image from Chapter 2 Becoming Supernatural While researching this book, we reached out to Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, for our insightful interview #307[xii] where we learned that we are “light beings, spiritual beings” and his advice to us was to be sure we find a way to balance the chakras in our body. His work with his GDV Technology that took Kirlian photography to new weights reminded me of what's possible when we believe in ourselves, and use our mind to think creatively and then take action on the ideas that we create in our minds. There isn't ANYTHING that we cannot accomplish. Or like the name of Dr. Dispenza's book, Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon. PART 2: ✔ 3 Important Concepts in Dr. Joe Dispenza's book, Becoming Supernatural that have the ability to change OUR life, when implemented. IMPORTANT CONCEPT 1:  Accessing the Present Moment IMPORTANT CONCEPT 2:  Mental Rehearsal: Priming Your Brain and Body for a New Future IMPORTANT CONCEPT 3:  Elevated Emotion ✔ What science has to say about these timeless success principles? ✔ Strategies to IMPLEMENT these principles into our daily life for improved results. ✔ How to use our emotions FOR us, rather than AGAINST us. ✔ Why we must continue to learn more about WHO WE ARE for improved results ✔ How METACOGNITION (and our awareness of how we think, act and feel) creates AHA Moments of Learning in our daily life.  PART 3: Review Chapter 3 of Dr. Joe Dispenza's book, Becoming Supernatural on Accessing The Quantum World for improved results in our personal, professional life, or with our health and wellness.  STEP 1: DROPPING INTO THE PRESENT MOMENT: OPENING THE DOORWAY TO THE QUANTUM WORLD STEP 2: SETTING A CLEAR INTENTION OF WHAT YOU WANT TO CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE STEP 3: HOW TO CHANGE YOUR ENERGY STEP 4: UNCOVERING WHAT YOU LEARN in THE QUANTUM WORLD STEP 5: RECORDING WHAT HAPPENS AND KEEP WORKING PART 4: Review of Chapter 4 of Dr. Now the work begins. Like I said when we first started this review, this is a shallow dive. The work begins now as we work on ourselves daily to keep our chakras aligned and balanced, and finding ways that we can move our energy from the lower parts of our body, up to our heart, throat, head and beyond, where we can tap into creative and innovative forces of energy to help us with whatever it is we are working on. Our health. Our Personal Lives. Our Professional Lives. Our Wealth. I hope you can see how to awaken our extraordinary potential in our everyday life and that you can see how you can become Supernatural, and achieve things that are not commonly seen. And with that, I'll close out this episode. For those in the US celebrating Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving and for the rest of our listeners, sending love and gratitude to you all for tuning in each week. We'll see you when we return in December. Heal Endometriosis Naturally With Wendy K Laidlaw

In this week's podcast I want to address a pressing issue. I recently spoke to a woman who was told by her gynaecologist that she needed a complete hysterectomy, a procedure involving the removal of her uterus and potentially ovaries. What deeply troubles me is the misinformation women receive about hysterectomies. My own mother had a hysterectomy, and she was devastated by the outcome. She was led to believe it would be a cure-all, but it wasn't. She faced complications and even developed more endometriosis symptoms after the procedure. Many women reach out to us, seeking information, after they are often given frightening and misleading advice from others. Your uterus and ovaries are crucial organs throughout your life, beyond just reproduction. They play a major role in hormone production and preventing conditions like osteoporosis. Yet, some doctors rush to recommend their removal without considering the long-term consequences or other natural options. Some women are told they can keep their ovaries while removing the uterus, but this can lead to blood supply issues to the ovaries, causing them to atrophy and necessitating another surgery. Even worse, some are falsely told that not having a hysterectomy will lead to cancer, a dangerous and highly irresponsible claim. Historically, women have been conditioned to stay silent and not question authority figures, especially in medical settings. It's crucial to understand that you have the right to take your time and make fully informed decisions about your health. These decisions are irreversible, so make sure to gather as much information as possible. Dr. Stanley West, author of "The Hysterectomy Hoax," states that about 90% of hysterectomies are unnecessary. Surgery can often do more harm than good, posing needless risks. Surgeons too often rely on hysterectomies as a 'one-size-fits-all solution' to various conditions, from PMS to fibroids. Even Dr. Sarah Myhill, renowned in the UK, has achieved remission in terminally ill cancer patients, demonstrating that alternatives and natural protocols exist. I do what I do because I remember the fear and devastation I felt when pressured to have a hysterectomy (which I refused). I was scared to question doctors and felt trapped between a rock and a hard place. It's vital to empower yourself with knowledge before making any critical decisions. I believe that most women can achieve remission by following the guidance in my book, online programs and other resources as I have done, along with hundreds of other EndoBosses. Seek safe and expert support, but don't be swayed or react by fear. Reflect on how you cannot reinstate your precious organs once they have been removed.  Surgery is invasive and comes with risks, so take the natural route, even though it may take time, it comes with ZERO side effects and great life long gains. It's a real opportunity for those who are ready for change and self-discovery. Remember, you are in charge of your health and you know your body better than anyone. It was another Sunday morning of sometimes heated but always civil political debate on Hancock and Kelley for Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023. John Hancock, Republican consultant, and Michael Kelley, Democrat consultant, discussed the following topics: St. Louis County is encouraging a return to masking in crowded areas with COVID cases on the rise, as a new medical study shows there's no evidence masking slowed the pandemic. Even Dr. Anthony Fauci is walking back his past stances on the benefits of masking. A new poll shows Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate from Missouri, Lucas Kunce, narrowly trailing Republican incumbent Josh Hawley, 44%-43%. The poll was commissioned by the Kunce campaign but provided only positive background information about the two candidates prior to asking voters which man they would support. The City of St. Louis bucks up to extend the much-hyped Cure Violence program, which has failed to deliver the promised results. The program will run for a fourth year, with total cost over those four years nearing $10 million. U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona pays a visit to St. Louis and says Missouri school districts going to a four-day school week are not meeting the needs of students or the nation's future. He seemed to sidestep the issue of parental involvement in school curriculum after uproar over issues like critical race theory and gender identity being taught in schools. New polling shows an overwhelming majority (77%) of voters think President Joe Biden cannot handle a second term, and 69% of Democrats in the poll feel Mr. Biden is too old. Famed Democrat strategist James Carville says he cannot deny the poll is alarming. At age 83, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announces she's running for another term in Congress, extending her 36-year run as the Congresswoman representing San Francisco, California. President Biden's son, Hunter, will likely be indicted on a weapons charge before the end of the month by the same prosecutor who engineered the so-called sweetheart plea deal that would have let Biden off with a misdemeanor. A federal judge rejected that plea deal. Our quote of the week was from Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who says she's very interested in being Donald Trump's running mate in 2024. She endorsed Trump on Friday night. Remember, if It's Sunday in St. Louis, it's Hancock and Kelley on Fox 2. We hope to see you next Sunday morning at 8:30! I went to Ukraine thinking I'd find victims of war and recipients of humanitarian aide. What I found were civilians creatively, consciously engaging in what was going on around them. ~ Dr. Greta Uehling Can you imagine life in a war zone? The residents of Ukraine have lived amidst devastating war and crisis for years, first with the invasion of the Crimean Peninsula and now with Russia's further invasion starting in 2022. For those of us living in the United States, life in a war zone is something we observe from afar. The images we most often see are devastating, showing civilians huddling in fear near bombed out homes and cities. Yet, when Dr. Greta Uehling visited Ukraine to better learn how civilians were coping with the war, she discovered resilience and brilliance as people often “made choices based on others' vulnerability,” discovering also that “relationships became essential to resilience.” Dr. Uehling's book, Everyday War illustrates how individuals found their worldview shifting as they discovered the importance of relationships, awareness of others' suffering and the usefulness of transferable skills in navigating life in a war zone with resilience. This week's powerful interview with Dr. Uehling illustrates the concepts of how to live a Brilliantly Resilient life in the most challenging of circumstances, highlighting the power of employing our transferable skills in service to others. Even Dr. Uehling's personal journey to Ukraine required a willingness to evolve with changing situations, and not being married to a particular outcome. Tune into this week's episode of the Brilliantly Resilient podcast to hear more of Dr. Uehling's wisdom, and be sure to listen for these additional bits of brilliance: I had to let go of my previous agenda. I couldn't control the occupation of Crimea, but I still had the power of my pen. In my case, the anthropological skill set was very transferable and for me that was empathetic listening. The wife of a doctor found new life assisting people, finding resilience together with others, through the everyday ethic of care. You improvise your own ethics and decide what's right. People get to live another day. Value is placed on the gift of being alive; that's what's important. Let's be Brilliantly Resilient together! XO, Kristin & Mary Fran

On today's show, I wanted to talk about the modern Democrat party is truly the party of death, control and fear. But, before I can get into that, I wanted to expand on the discussion of the CDC meeting to vote on whether or not to add the Covid mRNA vaccine to the child and adolescent vaccination schedule. To get more depth, I turn to my good friend, Stacey Lennox of PJ Media who just wrote a piece entitled, "CDC Vaccine Advisory Group to vote on adding mRNA vaccines to the Childhood Schedule." It is a travesty to even call the Covid jab a vaccine. We know it doens't stop you from getting it or from spreading it. At best, it might soften the impact, especially if you are either very old or medically fragile. Even Dr. Marty Makary of Johns Hopkinds University doesn't understand how this should be considered given we have no clinical data on humans, only from 8 mice. That's it! Only 8 mice were tested and now the CDC wants to force children to be injected. Why are they so desperate to provide financial insulation to both Pfizer and Moderna? Why are the choosing to put children at greater risk from the vaccine versus the virus? It's unconscionable and every parent/grandparent better be reaching out to their elected officials to make sure this doesn't become a requirement to go to public school or participate in extra-curricular activity. As to the party of death, we know how desperate the Left is to be able to kill children. Stacey Abrams has taken the argument to the next preposterous level. When talking about the cost of inflation across the board and the financial hardships hitting so many, she added that this is why women need to kill their children. In other words, since children cost a lot of money, it can be a hardship to a family when they are trying to fill their tanks or buy food. It's so mind-numbingly stupid, one wonders how Abrams (or anyone like her) can be taken seriously. Onto magic-thinking. Nancy Pelsoi was live with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell today. Mitchell tried her best to softball the subject of poor polling for Democrats. Pelosi, demonstrating perfectly the concept of magic-thinking, said she doesn't agree with the polls. With a wave of her hand, POOF, the polling is not longer relevent. Well, Nancy, you are not required to believe in the poll to make it true. Unlike many of the magic-thinkers on the Left, reality exists whether or not you choose to believe in it. President Joe Biden was campaigning on the message of abortion and Roe v. Wade and managed to give us two glorious soundbites, further demonstrating why we love to call him President Applesauce Brain. First he lost his thoughts on marrying couples in the privacy of their bedroom. Next, he quoted the 9th Amendment as where the "right to privacy" was discussed at the time of the Roe v. Wade ruling. We have a President who is incoherent, addled and not even capable of referencing the very document that defines how our government is meant to operate. Finally, Kari Lake and Tulsi Gabbard sat for Q&A in Arizona and they both touched on the concepts we discuss a lot on my show – fear and control. It is a nice end-cap to today's show, demonstrating why Tulsi no longer believes in the modern Democrat Party and why she suggests for many to leave the current party of death, control and fear. Among the least pleasant experiences in life is feeling stuck. That stuck feeling comes in multiple forms and we've all felt themes and variations of it. Even Dr. Seuss wrote about it in his book that is often given as a graduation gift, Oh the Places You'll Go. If you've read it, you might remember the part about being in the stuck place he called the “in between place” which he also describes as excruciating. So, even Dr. Seuss agrees: being stuck sucks. And I can only hope he would have said, “Being stuck sucks. It sucks in a house with a mouse, and it sucks on a boat with a goat.” And if we were able to step outside the overwhelming experience of feeling stuck, we might ask these questions: What does being stuck actually mean? What are some common pitfalls that lead us to being stuck? And, of course, what are some good ways out of being stuck? Fortunately, I know just the person to ask! Britt Frank, LCSW, is a psychotherapist in private practice and the author of a highly readable and wisdom-packed book called The Science of Stuck. I absolutely loved this book and I am not alone. Former SuperPsyched guest, Dr. Richard Schwartz, who is the creator of one of the most important systems of psychotherapy, called Internal Family Systems, said, “In this lively, well-written book, Britt Frank adds her compelling voice to this movement toward listening to rather than avoiding or fighting with what is making you stuck.” I so enjoyed being with Britt and I'm confident you will love learning from her. So, listen in as Britt and I talk about the science of stuck. Book Link: https://tinyurl.com/26hp7uje

This episode is a Step 2 - put the topic on the table for the 1st time - in our 6 Step Patient-Led Problem Solving Process   In this episode Tiffany, Deb, and Bridget talk about personalized therapy, or complimentary, non-pharmacologic options, that are being researched and added to new recommendations for full disease management. We often talk about the importance of Precision Medicine (which involves finding the best pharmacologic treatment for each person's individual needs), but as we, as patients, identify what works best for our unique needs, we have to consider all options (both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical). Just as with our biologics and other disease modifying treatments - where one works for one person and not the other - we need to think about alternative therapies the same way. For example, just because you “tried diet”, did you try all the diets? We all need to find our own right combination of therapy - but what does that look like to you? Then we also need access to that option, which can be challenging, but together - with AiArthritis - we can fight to make access a reality!   *All main episodes that air on the 1st Sunday of each month are either Step 2 in our 6 step problem solving process (first time the topic is on the table) OR a Step 5, which is a revisit to the table. In a Step 2, we are  putting a topic on the table for the first time to open conversation - and continue break out conversations (360its) to further explore what is most important to patients. Make sure your voice is counted!    Show Notes: Episode 75 – “The Whole Picture: Holistic, Personalized Therapy”   00:36 – Tiffany welcomes listeners. 01:05 - Tiffany is joined today by AiArthritis Voices 360 recurring co-hosts Bridget and Deb. 01:15 - Deb Constien was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 13. 01:50 - Bridget Serrett has multiple autoimmune diseases and genetic conditions. 02:49 - Today's topic is personalized, complementary, non-pharmacologic therapies. 03:50 - In order to manage a systemic, whole-body disease, we need holistic treatment options. 05:36 - Deb is a dietitian, although she is currently medically retired. 07:00 - Deb did not have access to complementary therapies when she was younger because they are expensive and not covered by insurance. 07:41 - Deb does not have any inflammatory triggers, so she did not find relief from any particular diet. 09:09 - Always tell your doctor if you are taking any supplements because they need to know anything you are taking to manage your medications. 09:21 - Bridget has tried every complementary therapy she could find. 09:38 - She also has found that most people do not have access to quality complementary therapies due to prohibitive costs. 10:47 - Tiffany has always been interested in complementary therapies, especially exercise. 13:30 - There is an access barrier for most patients to the recommended complementary therapies because most are not covered by insurance or national healthcare systems. 14:28. - Data drives access, but the voices of patients about their need for access are also. Important to eliminating barriers to these therapies. 15:21 - Tiffany explains clinical practice guidelines. 16:28 - Clinical practice guidelines provide justification for access to insurance companies and national health programs. 17:07 - Deb is on the panel for the American College of Rheumatology to develop clinical practice guidelines for holistic, complementary therapies. 17:15 - Deb and Tiffany explain the ACR panel process for developing clinical guidelines. 23:53 - Many people have a limited amount of covered physical therapy sessions per year, which can lead to difficult choices about how to prioritize health needs. 26:35 - Personalized treatments are unique to the individual, so what works for one patient may not work for another. 29:01 - The elimination diet requires a lot of discipline and consistency to even find out if it works for someone. 30:52 - Access is important, and having the ability to find the combination of therapies that work for a patient is critical to successful treatment. 32:10 - Tiffany discusses the AiArthritis initiative in partnership with FORWARD National Databank for Rheumatic Diseases to collect patient information and conduct research to try and improve early detection / intervention and patient individuality as it relates to precision medicine and personalized therapies. 35:39 - Even Dr. Al Kim who is very invested in holistic guidelines does not spend much time during patient appointments on complementary therapies because the subject is currently very nebulous and inaccessible. 37:18 - There is some concern that unethical actors may take advantage of vulnerable patients when we incorporate providers that are not part of the traditional medical field. 40:17 - Chronic pain is getting its own code in the healthcare coding system. 40:43 - Tiffany explains the ICD-11 coding system and how this will help patients. 42:33 - Deb attended a EULAR session called “Not Another Pill: Integrative Pain Management Approaches” at the 2022 EULAR Conference in June. 43:40 - The Biopsychosocial Model is the gold standard for addressing chronic pain and includes a requirement that providers believe their patients and value them. 47:23 - Being dismissed by doctors causes significant delays in diagnosis and access to treatments, which contributes directly to poorer patient outcomes. 49:23 - Having a code for chronic pain may help eliminate barriers to treatment options that result from doctors being afraid their licenses will be in jeopardy with government regulating authorities for prescribing controlled substances too often. 50:51 - When patients go to a doctor who doesn't believe them it can cause PTSD within the aiarthritis patient community. 52:24 - Sometimes when patients believe they are receiving treatments in blind placebo trials, they report improvement even though they are not really receiving any medication, which is called the placebo effect.  52:41 - Researchers wonder if the placebo effect could help uncover a mind-body connection that could help treat chronic pain. 53:15 - For more information on the mind-body connection research, check out our YouTube channel for a video on this topic. 53:55 - Complementary therapies are necessary because we need options for people who want to use fewer or no pharmacologic treatments. 55:40 - We need to hear from you on this topic! We discuss so much and I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did while recording it. "Dr. Baker is enthusiastic about his new assistant, a young university-trained physician named Caleb LeDoux ... until he realizes he is black. The Ingalls family are among the few to accept Dr. LeDoux, while others' reactions range from prejudice to outright racism. Even Dr. Baker has a tough time concealing his prejudice. Then, a pregnant white woman is suffering from complications and must rely on LeDoux to save her life, but the woman's racist husband refuses to cooperate and Charles must intervene. The surgery is a success and both woman and her baby son are fine; Dr. Baker is stunned and realizes he must deal with his own prejudice ... by going all out to convince Dr. LeDoux to stay when he threatens to leave the community." Penny Marshall came on to Awakenings after Steven Spielberg stepped off the project apparently. Perhaps that's why it feels a bit different for a Marshall film. But how well does this pseudo-true story work as it recounts Dr. Oliver Sacks' experiments on patients with encephalitis lethargica in 1969? Join us – Pete Wright and Andy Nelson – as we continue our John Heard series with Marshall's 1990 film Awakenings. Is Awakenings more than just Marshall's bid at an Oscar? We think it's more, but it sure feels like Oscar bait. But again... couldn't it just be Marshall's desire to tell an interesting story and step outside her comedy box? Same goes for Robin Williams. He delivers the goods here as an introverted doctor who would rather work with worms than people. And of course Robert De Niro gives a performance where you're convinced he's afflicted with the disease the character of Dr. Sayer is trying to cure. Even Dr. Oliver Sacks, upon whose studies the film is based, thought De Niro performed accurate to the disease. But did Dr. Sacks have any issues with the film? In this episode, I open with the unbelievable metamorphosis science has undergone in the last few days. Masks no longer work, kids do not need to wear them in school, mandates are not necessary and life should go back to normal. What an amazing turnaround! As Dr. Leana Wen stated on CNN, “The science has changed!” I'm sorry, but something may have changed, but it's not the science. Science is the process we use to get data. Science is how we get answers to questions. The fact so many in public health and the perpetrators of socialist/communist governance chose to ignore the data is why Covid has been politicized since day one. The science hasn't changed, so what has? Could it be qualifying for the mid-terms is coming up next month and internal polling for Democrats across the board is as bad as it's ever been? Or, could it be the collateral damage to the populace is going to be so devastating, they have no choice but to reverse course? Whatever the case, the data has been consistent for months and it's nice to see how leaders in Democrat strongholds are finally acknowledging it. Even Dr. Wen recognized natural immunity for the first time. But, while we are seeing the steady erosion of the public health mandates, Prime Minster Justin Trudeau continues his pretzel-logic attack on the Freedom Convoy. He doesn't even realize the backward, circuitous logic he is trying to peddle. He is, of course, assisted by the all-too-willing propaganda wing of the Democrat party – the legacy media. They have decided to try labeling the truckers as “insurrectionists,” “seditionists,” and “violent extremists.” It's almost comical to see their desperation on full display. Even White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tried to dismiss the Freedom Convoy and re-write their purpose for protesting. She wants to sell the notion that it's not about mandates. This flies in diametric opposition to what Prime Minister Trudeau is saying. It's should be comical if it wasn't so damaging to our freedom and liberty. I love tuner 528 hertz, I wonder if we can see 520 hertz, we can see sound if we can see the sound of love. Or if we can see love and speak love through direct perception. No idea. I feel like self dialog is real science. We think science is working for 10 years on one paper that most people can't understand. Whereas if we can speak with ourselves and develop direct perception of things, we don't really need science. There's a different type of science called science as c, e, y, E, and C. It's the science of the eyes of seeing, of seeing clearly and we can also hypothesize, also spelt with a Y e. It's a way of humanizing information within oneself, versus how we try to absorb things mechanically, and turn ourselves into mechanisms through scientific facts. There's the facts, we can see with our own eyes, if we're not blinded by our mechanized thought process. I skimmed through an article by Dr. mercola. And he's talking about the importance of movement. And I talked about this before, he talks about a lot because it's one of his main things as movement. And he says that if we're not moving, there's BDNF in the brain, which is bone, neuro trophic factor or something like that. And if we're moving, there's actually something in the brain. They discovered through rat studies called noggin. So noggin makes the brain cells grow, whereas BNF makes the brain atrophy. So he's saying exercise is actually important for brain growth. And it's interesting, because if we're sedentary, we're going to have more BNF in our body, we're going to grow more bone tissue, because our bones actually start to fuse together when we're not moving. And if we're sitting with our head forward, all day long, and we're not moving, it's going to fuse. So it makes sense that we have this bone generation factor in our blood if we're sedentary. But it's in our blood. So it's also in the blood in our brain. So in that way, being sedentary actually makes our brain atrophy just because we're not moving. So in movement, we're able to produce more brain cells, but I actually feel partly it's due to the fact there's more circulation. So when we're sedentary, there's no circulation, we grow bonds. Whereas if we're moving, we don't need those extra bone supports, because we're fluid, we're dynamic, we're meant to move. And I also extrapolate this to actually how our brain cells move. So if we're thinking the same repetitive thoughts, 60,000 thoughts a day, there might only be 100 thoughts on repeat, we're doing the equivalent of remaining stationary in our mind, because we're stationary within those 100 thoughts. So how I relate this as to when I've talked about how the ego is actually scar tissue, it's actually thoughts, we keep repeating, repeating, repeating and it forms scar tissue. And we have very limited movement in terms of where our brain can go in order to think and see because we're only seeing and thinking along the lines of our repetitive thoughts. So to me, exercise would increase movement, which increases blood flow, which allows the brain to grow. So that's physical exercise. I feel it's just as critical to actually be able to move the brain cells in many different ways. Not just In the 100 thoughts that the brain thinks, those few thoughts that we've used to clog up the ram of our pre frontal cortex, and it's just going over and over, the brain has lost its fluidity, it's become rigid, rigid in its thinking. And it's not even thinking it's just going along the same tracks that it's laid down through conditioning. And we see something, we remember it, we repeat it, repeat it, repeat it, whatever it is that we repeat in our own voice, becomes this habitual thought track, that prevents us from seeing other things, it prevents us from seeing. And so what I'm saying is that seeing perception, seeing something new, is a different movement that grows the brain, it actually provides oxygen to some other area of the brain, because we just saw something. Even Dr. Bruce Lipton says, perception, rights, genetics, so seeing something is going to change something genetically in the brain to to create different brain cells to create different neurons. So we're either moved by our conditioning, through a very limited habit track, and then we think, oh, we need to create a few more habits. Or we don't have those habits of thought. And we can see clearly, everything. And when we can see clearly everything that everything is recreated and mirrored in our brain cells. And when our brain cells are growing, we have energy, we're learning we're engaged. And that is joy, love, beauty, happiness. So the real thing is actually being able to see something new, and see something new to see with new eyes. It's not about doing anything, it's about seeing with new eyes, because I could say, well, I'm going to do this, and this is my plan. These are the seven steps to this habit. And then I do that, and that actually puts blinders on. Or I see the falseness of that process. And just see and perceive in the present moment. If we walk in a distorted way, and we continue to walk that way, for the next 30 years, we're going to be stuck, that way, we're going to be scarred that way, we're going to be distorted that way. Whereas if we move dynamically, and we're always moving infinitely differently, through the full range of motions of our body as a human being within the field of gravity, and understanding that field of gravity that we're in, our bodies are going to continue to be dynamic and fluid, they're not going to fuse. So same thing with thinking the same thoughts all the time, the brain fuses and congeals. And then we are very limited in the way that we can move about in the field of thought, in the field of consciousness, I feel the new game is actually to grow our brain cells to work out our brain cells, and to make that also embodied. So growing our brain cells could include things like seeing something new, it could include getting more oxygen, by being in the forest, for example, seeing nature, which is more beautiful than looking at a screen all the time doing things that get the oxygen to the brain. I feel like ego thoughts actually starve the whole brain of oxygen, it sends it all to the prefrontal cortex, and forms these scar tissues of neurons in their abstracting about the same thing all the time, and just living in those abstractions and not seeing reality. And reality is the whole brain, it's reflected in the whole brain. So we have to see with our whole brain, not just our abstractions about reality, and part of how we make it embodied is by having conversation and communication with other people. And the epigesturetics and the endo mimetics and the epi mimetics and making Weems so making the oxytocin through the inner human dimensions because the oxytocin is what actually we have the love feeling in the brain and then we get it also in the body, whereas dopamine is just in the brain, from what I've read so far. And the oxytocin makes us want to gesture with our body, it makes us want to reach out and continue. It's a different reward. It's a reward of connection as opposed to dopamine. Which is a reward of disconnection. And then we get more and more and more disconnected. And then we walk to a path where we're so scarred by our own thinking process, and we take ourselves to be that, that some of us end our lives. I feel like the ego kills itself when the brain is that starved of oxygen that it can't see anything else, it's not oxygenating, the rest of the brain, it can't see anything else but itself and its obstruction. And, and it goes so far into that, that that's all it can see. And it sees the meaninglessness of it. And then that's the end. If a person can see beauty, they're not going to end their life. If a person can feel love, and these are things to do with oxytocin, and connection, and earthing connecting with the earth, and sunshine also gets the blood flowing, I'm seeing a lot about this whole blood flow thing. Almost like what we see is where the blood flow is directed in the brain. We're only seeing our abstractions, it's, it's to, directed to the prefrontal cortex. And then we say we use 5% of our brain because all of the blood supply is going to this, this abstracting process, this distracting process, it's distracting the blood flow from the rest of the brain. And then no wonder there's all these neuro degenerative diseases now where the brain is basically shriveling up, it's not getting any nutrition. Even the movie, What the Bleep Do we know, which was years ago, said that we become addicted to our emotions in our body. And then we have more receptors for those emotions than we do nutrients. So we're so busy giving the cells those emotions, that that is taking up the capacity to actually absorb the nutrition because there's more receptors for the emotion than the actual molecules of nutrition. And I think the same thing happens in the brain with dopamine, everything's going to that reflex. So the rest of the brain isn't being nourished. The body down regulates everything in favor of this dopamine because the brain is a perceptual apparatus, but we're only perceiving things that are giving the reward of dopamine, and then the rest of the brain, there's no energy going there. And so through this dopamine process, which eventually becomes dopa meaningless, for me, seeing the meaninglessness of it all, sometimes ends itself through destroying the body. The brain has been destroyed. So the body gets destroyed, too. I wrote something down, I wrote down that perception, which is light, and minerals or frequencies of light, leads to movement in the brain, which leads to blood flow, which leads to oxygen, which leads to energy. So perception is what unfolds life. And we don't even see what we're doing to ourselves. So why do we think we can see what the cosmos is doing? And sometimes were released from seeing through that ego me process. And we can kind of see what the cosmos is doing is pretty amazing. And the cosmos is playing with life and we're destroying it. And I think about again, what would have Manik do? What would I do if I had nothing to do? And I was thinking about, at some point, doing an experiment where I go out and I just have nothing to do I just leave the house, and then just go based on intuition for the whole day. Because that's something that a manic would do. Because normally we follow our thought processes and our habits. So if those are the things that are obstructing us in a lot of ways. How can I just go out and just be like a manic person wouldn't just sort of follow one's heart. And the thing with that is, is that we have to actually pay attention. We have to pay attention to our heart We have to pay attention to what we're perceiving. And in a way, this is a way to deprogram our movement, in the field of gravity in space and time has become mechanical based on our program thoughts. And then we don't see anything. So if we go out without habit, we're looking for life. We actually have to respond to life and see that life creates life and that we are alive. And I can use an app to track where I go. Kind of like how those studies, track cats and where they go at night. Let perception move you. That could be a fundamental thing, like perception move you I don't know. And activating this other voice, this voice of intelligence, as opposed to the voice of the ego, which is words turned against us. Being able to utilize words to create the brain to create brain cells, as opposed to create scar tissue in the brain, through repetition. And even though repetition builds muscles, in the field of gravity, repeating thoughts in the field of consciousness, actually, limits neural connections. muscle cells are designed to get stronger, whereas brain cells are designed to get more complex. So if we're repeating, we're actually going against complexity. And gratitude probably increases blood flow to the brain. Right now, the highest quality for watching and recording things is 4k. And I had this thought that right now we're actually playing in C squared, light, the speed of light squared, times mass, or love, as Einstein said, we're playing c squared, which is the holographic process we're playing in the light of the sun meets the light of our eyes, the light of our consciousness, what do we watch? And c squared is more important than having the best 4k TV? What do we create and c squared? How do we arise and c squared? How do we make our brain grow within c squared, I feel like relationship heals in that it brings in another see it brings in another light of consciousness. So it depends how that person is shining, the light of their consciousness will actually change you. If somebody is judging you, you can tell especially in math consciousness, whereas if they're being unconditionally loving, you can also tell and it changes your life. In mania, we often become very graceful, or more fluid, we're more flexible, we're stronger, we move differently. And I feel like it's because that energy in our brain isn't being directed to the prefrontal cortex, it's not being directed to the ego, or when it's not being directed there. All of a sudden, we shift to being this very dynamic and fluid version of ourselves. And it doesn't take time, it's just a matter of shift in awareness. So map consciousness is a shift in awareness, it's a shift in perception. We're not perceiving through that limited energy of the ego structure. And when we are perceiving through that, that is what contracts our body and condenses it and gets us moving as we would as our ego version of ourselves. So it's actually just a matter of energy flow. It's a matter of perception, which changes the flow of energy. So it's a matter of changing how we look. changing how we see with our eyes. And it's just a matter of seeing something new, which doesn't seem that difficult, making a new connection, making a new connection. That's what extrapolation is. So today, when I read that mercola article, I probably only read a few sentences. And when I did, I extrapolated. And so that might be more important than actually sitting and reading the whole long article, and trying to absorb what they're saying. His thinking of something new about what they're saying, and maybe just reading a sentence or two. And not worrying about whether it's right or wrong. Because right or wrong, reward and punishment, that's all dopamine, and that's the thing we're actually trying to decouple from. In mob consciousness. We don't feel that sense of reward and punishment. We just feel like we're learning. And then when we come back to ego consciousness, we feel that sense of reward and punishment, oftentimes amplified. It's almost like How dare you not believe in reward and punishment? Now we're going to punish you. The answer is to question the programming to see the programming and by seeing the programming those are the new eyes. Instead of seeing out As the programming, seeing the programming, seeing that we're not that programming that there's a dimension beyond, we have those degrees of freedom. by labeling us with mental illnesses, our brains are sold to the pharmaceutical industry. We're given the inner subjective experience and map consciousness. So we can feel powerful so we can feel the power of our own brains, our brains are so powerful. It's connecting us with our inner superhero. And it probably only feels like superhero. Because we're not used to being like that we felt like superheroes as kids probably. And then we go back to feeling like superheroes. And it's just a feeling. Maybe the world would be a better place, if more of us felt like that. We didn't feel so disempowered if our brains weren't so fried by the circuitry of repetition. Most things out there are giving us something to strive for. But we don't question the thing we're striving with. we're striving with this brain that's polluted and clogged with all thoughts and programs. I was thinking about gestures, and it's not the gesture, but it's also the perception of the gesture and the meaning of, so if I do a kind gesture, but nobody sees it, it's not going to be perceived and the meanings not going to be equated. Or if I do a gesture that's not culturally appropriate. Some other culture sees that as a bad gesture, then there's also a miscommunication there. So map consciousness is trying to get us to produce new gestures. And it could just be the gesture of being dynamic and being not programmed, non programmed gestures, as opposed to program gestures, and creating new gestures, which is epigesturetics. Because no amount of arranging thoughts in our head is going to solve the world problems, we actually have to act. And it's actually getting us to act and act dynamically. And in my consciousness, the light of our awareness can be directed anywhere, instead of being directed to our dopamine circuits. And when that light can be directed anywhere we can see, and that consciousness causes voice reversal. Instead of speaking from this internal voice, we're speaking from our perceptions, we're speaking from what we see, we speak from what we see instead of what we may. We don't know how to turn off autopilot. So one thing would be to notice when we are on autopilot, and when we noticed, we're on autopilot, we're no longer on autopilot. And map is trying to use atrophied areas of the brain. So if I was immobilized for 20 years, it would take me a long time to learn how to walk and get those muscles built again, with blood flow. And ego consciousness is the same, it's like in mobilizing most of our brain. So in a way, my consciousness is actually learning how to walk, learning how to walk in a different world, instead of a world of our own thoughts. And we need to actually move differently physically in order to walk in that world to can't move in habitual ways. So sometimes in map consciousness, we fall over, and it's like laying down again. But we can still get up and try again and practice. And this isn't a practice in terms of building a habit as a practice of not practicing. Practice of not being on autopilot of not being a habit. Being a habit would be like I'm going to make the habit of always saying donkeys are gray and horses around every time I meet up with somebody. So if somebody came up to me say, Hey, how are you doing? donkeys are gray horses are brown. We would never try to mechanize what we say to people, so why do we try to mechanize anything else in life? This perception is a different movement. It moves the brain differently. It moves us differently when we can actually see. Perception causes movement...Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/bipolar_inquiry. We all went through that phase of wanting to be older than we were just so we could have the freedom to do whatever we wanted like eat ice cream for breakfast or not have to do our chores, but over time we realized that growing up/being an adult is totally overrated. Looking back on our past, we three are actually thankful for that awkward transition stage between middle school and high school, but apparently, that's not even a thing anymore. So here's what we want to know: Where did all the tweens go? Why is Justice disappearing? And why do 13-year-olds look like they're 19? The tween phase is slowly disappearing as more kids are being influenced by what they see on social media. In this episode, we address the current fading of childhood, peaking in elementary school, empowerment vs. sexualizing, and relationships at a young age. Plus, the struggles of being older and the responsibility that comes with it. Even Dr. Meredith Grey once said, "Responsibility. It really does suck. Unfortunately, once you get past the age of braces and training bras, responsibility doesn't go away. It can't be avoided. Either someone makes us face it or we suffer the consequences." --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Dr. Dan McCarter was born and raised in a small town. His mother was a registered nurse. At the age of 12, he administered insulin shots to his diabetic grandmother who had bad eyes. He ended up with this responsibility because there were times his mother was working at the hospital and couldn't do it herself. As a result, this led to a desire to serve others and practice medicine.Today, he is the National Director of Primary Care Advancement of ChenMed and practices in Virginia.  Despite the favorable benefits of the COVID-19 vaccination being backed by science and medical professionals, many people are still dubious and afraid to get the shot. That is why Dr. Dan McCarter and ChenMed work together to educate individuals, especially senior patients who are in dire need of immunizations right now.  Dr. Daniel McCarter discusses the necessity of immunizations for everyone in this episode of Cafecito with Rosie.  ChenMed values building relationships with its patients by assisting them and getting to know them on a personal level. As a result, nationally 70% of the patient population received flu vaccines. In addition, nationally 70% of patients are from minority groups, and 30% are eligible for Medicare or Medicaid, indicating that they have a low income. Chenmed's patients are mostly senior citizens with moderate to low incomes. As a result, when they decide to open community vaccination clinics, they do so in a community that requires immediate assistance. Dr. Dan shared an experience with a patient that had to travel 20 miles to get a vaccination, which was a huge challenge for him as he didn't have transportation. Fortunately, the clinic was able to arrange transportation for the patient to receive his vaccination as well as medical consultation.  Vaccination is important, according to Dr. McCartner. He stated that everyone should get immunized as soon as feasible, and that they must do it in a fair manner. He also mentioned that, despite the fact that most vaccines are 95 percent effective against severe diseases, there is still a 5% chance of hospitalization. Wearing a mask is still required to protect unimmunized people from contracting the virus. Even Dr. Dan always wears a mask to protect his patients, who are mostly seniors. In a few months, CDC would propose a less rigorous approach to wearing masks. If there are only 10 people at a family event, Dr. Dan says it's fine to go as long as everyone gets vaccinated. If there are people who aren't members of the household, protocol like wearing masks should be strictly followed. To be fully immunized, Dr. Dan recommends waiting two weeks after the second dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine and two weeks after the first shot of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. People of color, according to the data, are hesitant to get vaccines. It's a reasonable concern, especially for African Americans, who have good reason to be wary of the government. People of color, on the other hand, are more likely to catch and spread the virus because they tend to live in more crowded areas. Since people of color were included in both the intervention and placebo groups during the vaccine trial, Dr. Dan assures us that Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are safe for them. ”What is the most effective vaccine?” Rosie inquired before the end of the episode. Dr. Dan replied that the best vaccine is the one you get first, and the least effective vaccine is the one you don't get. Dr. Dan said that his 74-year-old sister-in-law received Moderna and his 72-year-old sister, who resided in West Virginia, received Pfizer. He emphasizes that both Pfizer and Moderna are 95% effective, so it makes no difference which brand you choose. Dr. Dan reminded the listeners that they should never wait for the brand they want; instead, they should take the first available option.   #Immunization #Vaccine #Covid19 #Senior #HealthCare #Medicare #Medicaid #Doctors #Patients   Dr. Dan McCarter Email │ Website  │ Facebook │ LinkedIn │ Twitter

Most of us think life outside of earth is science fiction. Even Dr. Linda Backman had trouble believing the stories she was hearing directly from hundreds of clients over the course of fifteen years. The consistency of their reports and the quantity of cases eventually convinced her of the existence of interplanetary souls (IP), who have come to earth to help us. Often they feel like “aliens” or misfits and others treat them as such. In fact, they are highly intelligent beings who are often gifted with special talents. As we understand their unique characteristics, we open doors for them to accept themselves and for friends, family and professionals to accept and support them as the special beings they are. Labels usually separate us. In this case, understanding that someone is an IP can be a gift that enhances their lives and the lives of those who know them. Please join us Thursday to learn more and discover if you or someone you know had past lives on other planets.
