Adulting isn't something they teach in school, but Heather Redisch is here to help college graduates figure it out. I see it all the time—young professionals landing their first jobs and feeling completely unprepared. Why does the transition from school to career feel so overwhelming? Heather Redisch, founder of The Talent Maven and creator of the Adulting 101 Masterclass, has spent nearly 25 years in recruiting and has noticed a shift. College graduates today struggle with confidence, communication, and the realities of professional life in ways previous generations didn't. The rise of smartphones, helicopter parenting, and the impact of COVID-19 have all played a role, leaving many feeling unsure of how to step into the working world. In this episode, Heather and I dig into what's missing and what young professionals can do to set themselves up for success. We talk about work ethic, resilience, and the small, uncomfortable steps that build confidence over time. We also get into the generational disconnect in the workplace, why older employees misinterpret the behaviors of younger colleagues and how both sides can bridge that gap. Success isn't about having it all figured out on day one. It's about learning, adapting, and taking action. Heather's Adulting 101 Masterclass gives college graduates the tools and support they need to step into their careers with confidence. Megan Hartman is the General Manager of Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA, along with the Cartoon Network Hotel and Old Mill Stream Campground. With a career that began in 2004 at Paramount Kings Island as a lifeguard, Megan's journey has spanned numerous roles, including leadership positions at Great Wolf Lodge and Splish Splash Water Park. Now at Dutch Wonderland, a family-focused amusement park designed for children, Megan has embraced the slower, family-friendly pace of Lancaster while bringing in guests from larger cities like Philadelphia and New York. In this interview, Megan talks about seeing through the lens of a lifeguard, letting your team have the vision, and being comfortable with the uncomfortable. The Lens of a Lifeguard "Being a lifeguard is all about being observant. It's looking for the thing that is different or isn't normal or watching for human behavior." Megan shares how her early experiences as a lifeguard have shaped her leadership style, particularly in her ability to observe and respond quickly to situations. This heightened awareness translates into her daily work as she walks through the park, noticing details others might miss—whether it's a piece of trash out of place or a guest who might need assistance. Her sharp observational skills, honed through years of lifeguard training, now guide her in managing Dutch Wonderland, ensuring that both guest experience and safety are maintained at high levels. Letting Your Team Have the Vision "My purpose here is, what is your vision? And how do we enact that?" Megan emphasizes the importance of empowering her team to develop and implement their own vision for the park. She recognizes that her role is not to dictate every decision but to support her staff in bringing their ideas to life. By stepping back and allowing her team to take the lead, Megan fosters a sense of ownership and creativity among her employees. This leadership philosophy has helped create a collaborative environment at Dutch Wonderland, where team members feel valued and are encouraged to innovate. Being Comfortable with the Uncomfortable "I'm comfortable in the not knowing. If you have people who are passionate and who care, you can combine those visions." Megan acknowledges that stepping into the unknown is a natural part of leadership. Whether it's navigating the complexities of managing a multi-faceted property or making decisions with incomplete information, she has learned to embrace discomfort. Her openness to admitting when she doesn't have all the answers has allowed her to rely on her team's expertise. This mindset has been instrumental in her leadership approach, where creating a supportive space for her staff to learn from mistakes and grow is key to long-term success. Focusing on Being Comfortable in Your Own Skin & Disregarding the Projections of Shame from Others A tell-tale sign that someone is operating from a place of shame? It's blame. Or, more often, the assumptions, criticisms and judgments that people feel inclined to place on you. When they say that what people have to say about you, gives you more insight into their inner world - that's not an exaggeration. In fact, it's another way to call out the projections that we often call opinions, beliefs, and points of view. Projections of our own sense of inadequacy, shame, and lack of self-efficacy. So, for those of us who have done the hard work to heal, to cultivate acceptance for the things that took place that were beyond our realm of control, and accountability what was -- who we allow ourselves to become as a byproduct of those people, places, and circumstance. Don't take it personal. Set the record straight, and align yourself with those who choose to exercise grace, in the ways that they describe you. Any questions? Summary In this episode, Coach Ty Gower discusses various topics related to coaching and football strategy. He debunks common football myths and emphasizes the importance of teaching and adapting in the game. Coach Gower also explains the concept of the Mint Front and how it can be used to defend against modern offensive schemes. He concludes by discussing adjustments to the tight end and different coverage looks. In this part of the conversation, Coach Ty Gower discusses various strategies for creating matchups and generating pressure on defense. He explains the concept of open blitz, where the defense blitzes away from the tight end or the three-man surface. He also talks about using three high safeties and the benefits of self-scouting to make adjustments. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of giving players autonomy and ownership in the game plan. Finally, he discusses the development of third down packages and the use of different presentations to stress the offense. In this conversation, Coach Ty Gower discusses the effectiveness of simulated pressure and the importance of pre-snap presentation. He also explains the concept of pressure packages and how to involve all 11 positions in the defense. Takeaways Coaches should be open to learning and adapting in order to stay ahead in the game. Teaching and coaching are essential in helping players succeed and overcome challenges. Scheme and situational football play a vital role in defensive success. The Mint Front can be an effective defensive strategy against modern offensive schemes. Adjustments to the tight end and coverage looks are important for defensive success. Open blitz can be used to create favorable matchups by blitzing away from the tight end or the three-man surface. Using three high safeties can provide additional coverage options and help defend against the air raid offense. Self-scouting is crucial for identifying tendencies and making adjustments to keep the defense unpredictable. Giving players autonomy and ownership in the game plan can increase their buy-in and confidence. Developing multiple third down packages with different presentations can stress the offense and create confusion. Simulated pressure and pre-snap presentation can be effective strategies in confusing the offense and creating pressure on the quarterback. Pressure packages should involve all 11 positions on the defense to keep the offense guessing and prevent them from preparing for a specific blitz. Coaches should take ownership of their position group and continuously learn and apply knowledge to improve their coaching. Climbing the coaching ladder requires patience, networking, and being comfortable in your own skin. Avoid comparing yourself to others and focus on your own growth and development as a coach. Exciting news! I just celebrated the second birthday of my in-home dental service, AccommoDental, and it has been an incredible journey so far. I wanted to share 6 important lessons that I have learned over the past two years, both professionally and personally. 1. I've Learned That TIME Is Our Most Valuable Asset We should cherish every moment and use it wisely. I've learned that time isn't simply a resource to use for accomplishing tasks or missions. Years ago, I compartmentalized my time and only dedicated some to friends and family, while most of it was spent on work or school. I rarely smelled the roses. If you're unsure of what the schedule or time of a house call dentist might look like, please download my free guide called “A Day in the Life of a House Call Dentist.” It'll help you visualize your days when offering house calls. 2. We Can Only Control Ourselves and Our Reactions to Situations When you step into someone else's domain, you can't control everything like you might be able to in your own dental office. You can't control the temperature. A lot of older adults are freezing even when it's 80 degrees outside, so they might have windows sealed without AC. You can't control whether siblings break out into a screaming match about money while you're there. You can't control if your patient is incredibly attached to their loud, threatening German shepherd. The only person you can control is yourself. You can control your response, your words, how you treat others and that's about it. 3. Being Comfortable with Discomfort Is Crucial to Success I recommend being flexible and doing as much work as you possibly can even in tricky conditions because the patients really do benefit from your time and services. AccommoDental has helped me embrace the unknown more and more throughout the past two years of my practice. I learned that I can handle a lot! I am more and more willing to be accommodating in various ways because I know that I have shown myself that I can work under pretty interesting conditions. 4. Remaining Gracious and Building Strong Relationships with Patients & Colleagues Is Important I am incredibly appreciative of my patients. They welcome me, a stranger in most cases, into their homes. I'm grateful for how much time I get to spend with them. I'm grateful for their stories, their humor, and their families. My patient interactions are the best and I'm grateful for the flexibility that a dental house call practice allows for. 5. The Quality of Our Relationships Directly Affects the Quality of Our Lives Relationships with patients are important. Patients need to know you're on their side. It's also important to build rapport with their families. These relationships also grow best within boundaries. My patients know not to call me just to chat on Saturday morning. I respect their time and they respect mine. Professional relationships are important, too. Of course, it's good to network and foster relationships with colleagues. This helps with referrals and it also is a great way to make actual friends. I've been lucky enough to make a number of new friends since AccommoDental started and I've learned a lot from everyone. 6. It's Important to Follow our Mission and Not Just Chase Financial Gain Oftentimes, if you're following your mission, you will see financial gain. There's no shame in earning a healthy living because you offer a valuable service to people. I'm not here hating on the exchange of money. I just want to remind you that pursuing ONLY money can lead to poor outcomes for your business. Chasing cash is a great way to begin to resent your business. If you're not helping who you want to help and you're working when you don't want to be working, the cash won't justify it. Build a business you LOVE, not a trap that you resent. I hope these lessons resonate with you and inspire you to pursue your passions. Whether you decide to offer dental house calls or not, please consider supporting those in need by contributing to the Home Smile Care Foundation. Thank you! We've got Kristin Weitzel, my partner in crime, and the host of the Wellpower Podcast, joining us for another installment of the Biohacking Besties!Kristin and I just got back from a month-long trip to Maui, and it was, suffice it to say, an experience that tested the skills we preach and explore on the PODCAST. Today's episode started out as a conversation about “gray area drinking” and ended up covering all things alcohol related (and we will likely need to record a part 2!). Dr. Jennifer Benjamin and Jerome Williams from the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center joined us to discuss how and why alcohol use increased among adults especially parents, during the pandemic (alcohol consumption rose among adults over age 30 by 14% during the pandemic, with a 41% increase in women heavily drinking), and the impact it can have on parents themselves, and their kids. Chrissie also shares how her own alcohol use changed during the pandemic and how she assessed her relationship with alcohol in early 2021. We also discuss the social and cultural influences that act as “pennies in a jar”, slowly making an impact without us necessarily noticing, and that one does not need to be dependent on a substance to question their relationship with that substance. Dr. Benjamin and Jerome share many resources to access support and ways to consider the environment surrounding alcohol use, in your home and community, and the societal attitude of “it's ok for me because it's ok for you”. This conversation brought up so many great points that truly tap into our favorite saying of “you don't know what you don't know” and touched on many ways that alcohol can creep into our lives without us even realizing it. Join us! Things we mentioned during our conversation: Chrissie mentioned research showing an increase in alcohol use among adults during the pandemic, especially among women and parents. Chrissie talked about an article that talks about “mommy wine culture” and when did it start. She read “quit lit'' books including (parts of) This Naked Mind and We Are the Luckiest and also listened to some podcasts by Ruby Warrington about being sober curious. Chrissie also followed a few sober curious/dry challenge accounts on instagram: @1000hoursdryparents and @thesobermomlife. Because not only can you resolve that, but you can also resolve whatever is underlying in my worldview. That would be trauma in some form or another.” - Diana Chambers “Wealth is an external dimension of who we are, but it's not our internal interior was chosen expression of self.” - Diana Chambers “Helping women to stay true to themselves and succeed, is I think the sort of really nuanced edge of this, it's not what we want them to succeed, we want them to succeed as themselves.” - Diana Chambers LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, AND LEAVE US A REVIEW on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or whatever platform you listen on. Today with us on the Incite Change Podcast, Coach Mauro sits down with Coach Len and Cass (Cassandra Colosimo). In today's episode, they discuss the aspect of the fitness industry with the narrative that suggests that trainers and coaches do not go through the same struggles as ordinary people when it comes to health and fitness. Both Coach Len and Cass share their fitness journey and their relatability to the everyday person. Cass, who is a group fitness instructor currently working towards her training certification, tells us about her past perception of the fitness Industry and how her views and understanding have since changed. Coach Len also shares his past perception of where you would think fitness was only for or about the persons who “looked fit” when in reality, body image, should not dictate how serious a coach or person is regarding their fitness journey or how they can help you. In closing, they leave us with key points to reiterate not to focus on the “looks” of it all but understand your journey and getting to your goal. Title: Episode 12. Alcohol in Our Lives: Questioning Our Own Use & the Impact on Our Kids Today's episode started out as a conversation about “gray area drinking” and ended up covering all things alcohol-related (and we will likely need to record a part 2!). Calvin Chin is the co-founder and CEO of Zen Coast University, an online coaching mastermind that builds people's knowledge in real estate investing. Calvin grew up thinking he should get a corporate job and get his head down until he retired at 65 with the white picket fence and two and a half kids. He was doing what society thought was successful. Eventually, he started investing in real estate, now having options other than just the W-2. He then scaled up to apartment complexes with 88 units across the United States. Having climbed the first mountain of achieving personal success, Calvin now climbs his second mountain – the legacy piece. He co-founded Zen Coast University, along with his fiance, Jennie, so they can teach people how to create passive income and thereby create a passive impact on the community and the world. Here are some power takeaways from today's conversation: The second mountain How he made his first deal Being comfortable with being uncomfortable Tapping into the power of affirmations Getting clear on your purpose so you can prioritize things Habits are what builds the outcome The power of mentorship and coaching Episode Highlights: The Second Mountain A Second Mountain is a book written by David Brooks who shares this idea of how human beings embark on a journey from the first mountain to a second mountain. The first mountain is all about how you can be fulfilled in life – finances, family life, friends, faith, philanthropy, etc. The second mountain is the legacy piece – what you want to be remembered for. What's the impact you can make not only in your life, but in your family's life and your community's life, and the world? What can you do to give back to other people? Coming in with Abundance When people increase income, their expenses go up too. Figure out how you can lower your expenses. If you can get financially abundant yourself, that shows because you're not hungry and you're not thirsty for the commission and you can talk authentically. Being Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable The times you're uncomfortable is when you have the most growth. If you're comfortable, you're being complacent, and complacency is a dangerous word because you can't be comfortable and complacent. Fear is a big component of it. But fear is an emotion that your body gives out as a defense mechanism. When you do the thing you're fearful of, you realize it wasn't hard after all. And so, there's that self-worth aspect as well. Priority and Productivity People that are productive are productive because they're fueled by priority. And they're prioritized based on their purpose. When you get really clear on your purpose, then you can begin to prioritize the things in your life. When you begin to prioritize the things in your life, you become productive. If you are an athlete, do you struggle to transfer your skills from training or practice to competitive situations? Or if you're a coach, does your team or athletes fail to express themselves fully when the pressure is on? In this solo podcast episode, I address this hugely common challenge that athletes young and old, amateur and professional have, where I review recent podcast episodes and articles that I've created on the topic and go on to share 10 common reasons why this is the case. You'll also find a range of practical tips and suggestions to challenge your thinking and help you overcome these challenges. 10 Common Reasons Why Athletes Fail to Transfer their Skills from Practice to Competitive Situations: Your practice or training isn't designed to help you feel more confident under pressure. Your practice or training doesn't challenge you enough. You don't mentally prepare for difficulties. You don't have a strategy to stay present. Your mindset towards your warm up sets you up to fail. You fail to learn from past mistakes. You don't have consistent performance or pre-shot routines. Your core values are compromised and negatively influence your actions. You focus or your coaching team focus too much on results or the scoreboard. Your culture is psychologically unsafe, causing fear responses. Racial identity: the significance and meaning of race in one's life (physical features - skin colour )Ethnic identity looks to your nationality - cultural values Athletic identity: the degree to which individuals identify as athletesResearch Findings (2:10)Research in the early 2000s - Jackson and colleagues and Brown and colleaguesHigher athletic identity in black student-athletes resulted in dissociation of these individuals and their racial-ethnic group memberships Problem: the higher the athletic identity of these black students, the less they perceived racial discrimination to be a problem in the U.SWhy am I talking about this? Athletic identity enhances one's sense of self, self-confidence, & self-worth Feel accepted because of their athletic talentsMy Athletic Identity (6:20) When I was seen as value-added to my hockey team - my racial identity never came to mind. I got to forget that there were challenges being black (sheltered lifestyle)I was reminded when I had to think twice before retaliating to avoid harsher consequences - it looks worse if a black kid does it. I didn't want to change how others perceived meRelevance of Identity in Sports (11:00)Sports should not be an escape from who we are, it should bring us together because of who we are. Unique traits allow for stronger connections to ourselves and others Improves performance - teammates with a stronger bond gel together Olympic Games effect - nations come together and unify us all CTA: Check out Blog Post (15:00)Check out my first blog post on interruptingsports.com to learn more about why it is time for the Interrupting Sports podcast. Drop a comment and share your thoughts. I would love to hear them.Being Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable (15:25)To bring about positive change we must become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Our inability to step out of our comfort zone limits our experiences Personal Anecdote (17:36) Growing up sheltered, I became comfortable being the only black kid in a room and uncomfortable being among black kids. I formed a community to overcome my uncomfortable state. Significance in Sports (21:19)We need to have the difficult conversations to move beyond our ways.Get out of your comfort zone - be honest with yourself Unlearn our poor behaviours - making assumptions/biasesAcknowledge and embrace the good, the bad, and the ugly of our realityThat is how we grow and progress the culture of sport - expand our minds and change our perspective Summary of Points (23:40)Recognize the components of our identity: racial, ethnic, and athletic identity - embrace who we are as individuals to unify us Acknowledge our realities and hold ourselves accountable to overcome biases and progress the culture of sports

Yesterday's podcast episode left off with LaTrae Wilson contemplating leaving the faith. Today, we find out what happened. When it comes to creating an empowered new chapter of life, we often see the promise that Jesus made to us about abundant living, but we think of it as him doing everything, and us sitting back and relaxing, with our feet propped up on the coffee table, as we say, "Ok Jesus, whenever, you are ready to heal me." Then, Jesus is looking back at us, and going, "Ok, whenever you are ready, we can do this thing together."

Becoming Unsilenced: Awakening to the Greatest Potential You Always Were
1st In a series where I will share directly from my own life journey where I am committed to using my life situations as learning experiences, alignment before action, and letting my life be guided completely by my intuitive wisdom. In This Episode, I define what it looks like to live life based on these 3 priorities: 1) Learning from Life Situations 2) Alignment Before Action - acting from fear or love 3) Living Life from Inner Guidance I Share the 3 areas of my life that I am growing the most in right now: Money, romantic relationships, and eating and how I am embracing the concept "Slow Down to Speed up." Embracing this philosophy has brought me to a slower pace than ever imagined and allowed me to really finally blow up some longstanding issues - like the final roots of my money fear, cycles of workaholism, even awareness of eating patterns I have dealt with all my life, and now has my standing on the brink of some pretty exciting shifts! Here are the Real-Life Situations I have face the last 3 months and share about in this episode:

WENDY GROUNDS: Welcome to Manage This, the podcast by project managers for project managers. Just a little update about claiming your PDUs. The steps to submit a PDU for our podcast as well as for our InSite courses to PMI has changed. Our PDU claim page has been updated with the new instructions. Make sure not to use the autofill, but type in Velociteach and the title when you are submitting your PDUs. We do apologize for the inconvenience. But thank you for listening, and please contact us if you need any additional assistance. I'm Wendy Grounds, and with me is Bill Yates. This is our opportunity to talk with you about issues that project managers are facing today. And sometimes it's working remotely, sometimes it's working on teams, and sometimes it's all of that together. Our guest today is somebody we've had on before. He is Kupe Kupersmith, and he was on Episode 62, where we talked about BAs and PMs, decision-making for superheroes. BILL YATES: I'm excited about this topic. I think at a macro level it's all about healthy teams. Meet Kupe WENDY GROUNDS: Yeah. Kupe is the coauthor of “Business Analysis for Dummies.” He's had quite an eclectic career path. He has been an accountant, an improv comedian, IT consultant, business analyst, and a project manager. He has collaborated with us on some courses. One was the “Overview of Lean Business Analysis.” And currently he's working on a course on remote Agile delivery. Kupe, welcome to Manage This. Thank you for being our guest today. KUPE KUPERSMITH: Thanks for having me. WENDY GROUNDS: I have a quick question, before we get into our discussion. It was 2018 when we had you last on the podcast. So what have you been doing since then? KUPE KUPERSMITH: Wow, has it been that long? I feel like... WENDY GROUNDS: It's been that long. KUPE KUPERSMITH: I feel like I was in your office; and then, poof, you asked me to do another one. But I guess it's been two years. Well, prior to 2020 I was doing a lot of keynote speaking. And we talked some about improv, I think, and the improv work I do, and how I talk about improv and how it helps people be better collaborators, communicators, team players. So doing a lot of that. I'm also an IT consultant, so I'm out there with companies kind of implementing Agile practices and other practices to have effective teams and get teams to deliver the great products that our customers want. Splitting a Large Team BILL YATES: You've been partnering with us on courses, and there are so many nuggets. I just wanted to have a conversation about being a healthy team or creating a healthy team. One of those I thought was really unique, and you talked about when your team is too large. I think in the example you gave you had 36 team members that were needed to get the job done...

In this episode, entitled Being Comfortable in the Uncomfortable, we answer questions brought to us by you - the listener. Our audience requested we talk about how to get out of our shells when asking for help, embracing different personality types, and loving ourselves in our skin (in bed or in a bikini).
One normal thing about being human is we all have a body to get us from place to place. But they're all so different. This would be fine if things like body shaming and bullying didn't exist. But unfortunately, they do. Though we all suffer, it seems like it's especially difficult for women to learn to love their bodies in a world where they are constantly scrutinized and criticized. This is why this week's episode focuses on the book Fat Girl Walking: Sex, Food, Love and Being Comfortable in Your Skin... Every Inch of It by Brittany Gibbons. She's also the hilarious voice behind the website BrittanyHerself.com. We discuss her childhood, becoming a mom, revealing herself to the world and learning to accept and love her own body. This book is a must-read for anyone who has struggled with body image, and in this episode, we dive into our own struggles and come out on the other side ... relatively unscathed.

Ed McShane, a Coach for Your Heart, on the importance of relaxing with friends.
#11 I have an online money mindset course called Awakening Abundance. One of the key lessons of this course is called “The Cold Hard Truth on Being Comfortable.” In this lesson I teach the four dangers of your comfort zone, along with information about your financial blueprint and how to take an honest look at your current relationship with money. Now your comfort zone isn't only dangerous from a money mindset perspective. In my opinion a comfort zone is the last place you want to be when you are creating or setting goals. I used to hear it with my coaching clients all the time, “Val I just want to be comfortable” and honestly I would CRINGE when I heard it. If you're someone who is aiming for comfort, look around you. Look at all the things you have in your life right now. You obviously have some sort of technology like a smartphone, tablet or computer, and access to the internet. You have made the time to be part of this broadcast or replay. You see, if you don't already feel comfortable; at this point in your life… I'm not sure if you will ever be truly satisfied. It might seem harsh but… think about it. What more could you possibly need to feel “comfortable?” Maybe you're realizing you want something more than comfort. Perhaps you're looking for luxury? Or maybe you desire freedom? You could actually be craving less of materials to open up space for more time? Whatever it is, it probably isn't comfort. When you were setting your goals or resolutions, or maybe you were just thinking about 2019, were you aiming for expansion? Personal development? Or Mediocrity? Stagnation? And Staleness? Or perhaps you set “safe goals” that don't grow you? Let me explain the 4 main dangers of your comfort zone. Danger Number One: Your Comfort Zone is Unhelpful Your comfort zone isn't helping anyone. When you choose to aim for “comfortable” what you're really telling the Universe is, “Everything is okay as it is. Don't stretch me. Don't gift me. Don't excite me. Bring in enough on the next pay cheque to pay my current bills.” The Universe delivers. You go about each day the same. You don't worry about your bills because you have your job - for now anyway. But the truth is, you are not adding any value to the world. And babe… you were BORN TO ADD VALUE TO THE WORLD. You were born to succeed and help others. You were born to give and to receive. Ask yourself: does being comfortable afford me the privilege of helping others? Danger Number Two: Restraining Wanting to be comfortable is holding you back from being your best self. You were born to be the best you can be, and “comfortable” isn't your best. It isn't my best. Open yourself up to the world, to possibilities, to the abundance of life. Get yourself into motion, shake things up! Learn a new skill, meet some new people. Be vulnerable, be open to growth and love. There is a quote by Thomas Jefferson that I always remind myself of before I'm about to do something new and I'm scared. He says “If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done.” What is it that you need to do to achieve what you truly desire? Danger Number three: It's False You don't actually want to be comfortable. Comfortable is stagnation and being stuck and even if you think you want it right now, you won't want it for very long. If you look at the goals you created for 2019, or if you really think about what you desire. If you were to choose three words to describe how you want to feel in 2019, I HIGHLY doubt one of those words is “comfortable.” When I was creating the Awakening Abundance course I interviewed several people and one of the questions was how do you want to feel. Some examples of the feedback were: “relief, excitement, relaxed, proud, stress and worry-free, at peace, empowered, confident, financially free, successful, and generous.” But NONE of the responses was ever “to feel comfortable.” Not a single one. The truth is you deserve to be happy, and confident, and empowered, and free, and generous and all those incredible and abundant things. The final danger is Number Four: Mediocrity Comfortable is too ambiguous. It's not a goal. Comfort might feel nice, but it's essentially wanting to be mediocre. Set aside the ordinary, it is time for extraordinary! If you're still reading this post, I know that you're ready for more. I know you're ready to leap out of your comfort zone and move into growth and expansion! And guess what!? The magic happens outside of your comfort zone! Outside of your comfort zone are limitless possibilities and opportunities for growth! The Universe is limitless and SO ARE YOU! The only limits we experience are the ones we create for ourselves (usually in our minds). So what are you waiting for?! What moves are YOU going to make today to stretch yourself and grow? What leaps do you need to take? And don't feel like you have to ask anyone else what yournext move is, because it's really up to you - and you ALREADY KNOW what to do. If you were looking for a sign to move forward, let this be it. Unapologetically live your best life; let magic into it.

Romans 15:13 - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." Knowing Joy, Being Comfortable, and Receiving Peace When a man loses hope, his life can become almost unbearable. When we realize that hope is one of the provisions of God and that it is a result of being filled with joy and peace by the power of the Holy Spirit, we understand that we never have to experience a sense of hopelessness. God will never leave us nor will He forsake us. We can turn to Him at any time at any place, receive His provisions, and be free from despair.
