We can tell you that the sequels are sorely lacking in any Obi-Wan Kenobi or Anakin Skywalker. REY KENOBI TRUTHERS 4 LYFE (truthers because it is true, welcome to the initiation of your gaslighting). The sequels also needed Han and Luke and Leia together just ONCE, like AT ALL, but I DIGRESS. Let's all face it, because we have to: these movies had amazing potential. But they sucked. Don't ask us what the plot was. The only thing good about them (besides The Force Awakens, we started so strong, we could have had it ALLLLLLL) was the characters, and luckily that's what we talk about! So this week, we are sorting Rey, Kylo Ren, Finn and Poe 3 out of the 4 of whom are really great fantastic people and 1 who is so fucking unintentionally funny wow it's actually a good thing he died though because there was no coming back for him. It's not enough to get awards and features and guest appearances and all these different things if the work and energy and effort and time it takes to get those things or be a part of those things or create those things does not establish and create the perception you need in order to get the result that you want. All this effort, all this energy, all those resources, and maybe all this money being exerted into content with the intentions of building brand equity, growing your business, establishing as a thought leader, as a strong presence within your industry, your clients, or consumer base, whatever it might be, and it doesn't do that, will fail. It's not working efficiently. It's not working effectively for the intent and purposes of why you're doing it.Remember, we got to always be creating, but creating is only part of the journey. We have to couple that with creating content that connects. At the time I am writing this Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are still in four competitions and I hope regardless of when you are reading this / listening to this show over the next seven days we are STILL in four competitions this season. This week on the show Sam and Matt talk all things Fulham and Winks getting our last minute winner and of course focus on the Chelsea game which was / is tonight at the time or recording / me writing this. Its a semi final ... I have lost count how many of these bastards we have lost over the years... also, anyone else think two leg semi finals in a domestic cup competition is kinda pointless and should be scraped? Its just an extra game which the players could do without. The team who had a better goal difference from their quarter final win gets home stadium advantage for the semi final, would encourage attacking play in the quarter finals etc and also would cut down on games. Anyway, will never happen, the extra game is televised and football in essence is dark relationship with Sky TV... having a bit of an affair with BT Sports but Sky TV still in charge. Each time that happens I assume something exciting has happened and I got a text from a friend or an important call. Instead it is just a Facebook comment to a comment that I made, that I should not have made in the first place. See, while I am well versed in Social Media for Business, I am not so well versed in Social Media for Personal.An example: The other day I saw a facebook update of someone who was selling a couch because they were getting a new one. I commented "how exciting. I hope that you love your new couch." It turns out that it was a the HEB Buy Sale Trade page and it was just a stranger trying to sell a couch.## But Renee’ you teach Social MediaYes, I do teach social media and I am really good at that. I understand how to use the tools and the platforms but I don’t teach social. There is a difference between understanding social media and understanding social. Don’t worry, I have friends and I spend time with them. However, I don’t interact with them well on social media. Actually, I don’t hardly interact on social media with my friends at all.I use social media as a tool. It is a method for me to gain information. I love following tech leaders and blogging leaders and WordPress know-it-alls. Social Media is a wonderful way to learn about new products. Social Media is a wonderful way to learn new tips and tricks. It is how I find all of the content that I read. It just so happens that in my case, I tend to filter out things such as a camel getting tickled and what my best friend had for dinner.
